SEIKOWomen's Automatic Watch Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Strap

This version of the Seiko 5 automatic watch is not made in Japan, but the one I received is an excellent time piece. It does not lose or gain more than a couple of seconds each day and I think it is as accurate as any of my battery powered digital watches. The watch is obviously well made and very good looking. The size is on the large side and the face is easily read. This watch is an outstanding buy at the price on Amazon.com.The watch was a little tricky to set the first time, but it requires only a little attention after that. The date requires adjustment for short months. So do most analog watches.The stainless steel band is handsome, well made and goes well with the watch. I had to remove a couple of links to make the band fit properly and that was pretty easy to do. I can recommend this Seiko watch without reservation.

I have always wanted a Seiko watch like this so when my old Timex of 35+ years finally died, I treated myself to this one. It arrived way before it was scheduled, was extremely well packed, and truly is as beautiful as pictured. Unfortunately for me, I could even begin to understand the instructions so was scared to death to even touch the actual watch! My old Timex gave me the time, which is all I need. I don't need the month, the day (with multiple languages capabilities), etc. so, sadly, I took it immediately to the post office and sent it back. Oh well... at least I can say that finally had a Seiko... if even for only a few hours.

A nadie recomiendo que compre este reloj , me fallo y como ya había terminado la garantía con Amazon, me devia de acoger a la garantía del plan de protección que compre por dos años con asturion, no se lo recomiendo a nadie les llamo para comunicarle el problema que tenia con el reloj y que tenia que llamar a seiko ,para ellos poder cubrir esa garantía y entonces pregunto para que compre este plan , no se dejen engañar

Beautiful!My father bought me my very first Seiko watch back in the early 70’s and it’s still working.My mother had an automatic winding one that would still be working today if it wasn’t for a lousy watch repairman.I bought this as a birthday present to myself.I needed a watch I could count on that not only looked classy, but also didn’t need to be removed every time I hopped in the shower or went for a swim .From personal experience I know Seiko is a quality watch and built to last

Summary: good value and a great look that works well with any band. It was running slow for the first week or so but that seems to have resolved itself. It’s as accurate as I would expect at this price point.The good: watch looks great and fits well on my 7.5” wrist. There is an almost endless variety of colors and styles of straps that look great with it.The bad: not even close to a 40 hour reserve. The best I’ve managed is about 8 hours and that’s after wearing it for a week straight, talking it off only to shower. One of those days was spent working in the yard so inactivity wasn’t an issue.

I had a Seiko years ago, back in the 70s. I haven’t owned or worn a watch in years, but decided I wanted one. I chose this one. I wanted an automatic. It was reasonably priced & you really can’t beat Seiko for reliability. I think it’s a really great timepiece & it looks expensive.
