Great belt. Cruddy hammer hook

I really like this belt. It’s bigger than I’m used to and it took me a while to adjust to the pouch locations but the pouches and harness seem well made and should hold up well on my framing job. Forewarning though, the hammer hook is way too low for a framing hammer. It may be just body proportion (I have fairly short legs) but a 24 oz estwing will swing and hit everything around me, drag down the steps and hurts the back of my calves and knees. Takes nothing more than to replace it with a cheap, more practical hammer hook but it wasn’t clear in the advertising of this product.

5 but kinda 4

I use this rig all the time. I work construction in the summer and school year breaks, and teach shop at a local high school full time. I will make a few observations that I haven’t been able to resolve, but I also am not irritated enough to stop work and fix.The beltThe belt has a shorter width than the loops. Easy movement but that means the ends of the rig can twist. Your shirt locks in with the material and that pulling from your body movement is stronger than the friction (lack thereof) between the belt and material. A wider and more rigid belt may resolve this…The hooksGrabs ladders like it’s their job. I hate them. Then again, I leave my impact on it 90% of the time. The other hook truly gets in the way for my purposes. Resolve with a zip tie or electrical tape around the hook and bracket. The harnessFantastic. Takes a minute to get adjusted but once you get it set it’s great. The small look on the shoulder strap is great for phone holster or self retracting pencil clip. Or bandaids… whichever.OverallI think this system is great. It’s been used and abused for over a year and so far no issues with rips or tears. Not a paid review. Just a dude with a hammer

Good for the price

Great tool belt for the money I just wish the hooks detached. I guess they're supposed to hold power tools or hammers or something but there are hooks on the very edge of each side of the bag that get caught on everything I had to zip tie them down a certain direction in order for them to actually stay still and not get hooked as much. It's still an issue and I'm going to be cutting them off today. Also the strap on the front where it wraps around your waste folds in on weird angles if there's a large amount of weight in your bags so it s abit uncomfortable in that respect. Most of the clips and draws are made of plastic. But I have to say so far I'm impressed with the quality and design of these rather affordable bags

Versatile

Fits great. Large pockets hold what I need. Comfortable. Coworker liked mine and bought one himself.

Pockets rip fairly easy. Overall build is solid.

Good tool pouch with lots of space. The pockets for the individual tools aren’t stitched together the best and pretty weak. It’s not a big problem for me but for some it may be an issue

Best tool belt out there

Just an awesome, comfortable tool belt. I do everything and while I'm framing, it works great have a beast of a framing nailer and it hangs on the belt great. Enough pockets for everything I need for every job.

The weirdest and most impractical tool belt I've ever worn

Shoulder straps are nice and padded, sternum strap is great to keep everything from sliding down, and it's big, but that's where the praise ends. This clearly wasn't designed by anyone doing any real carpentry or framing work, that's for sure.Hammer loop is out of reach in the backThe belt is big enough for Santa, with nowhere to tuck the excess. I'm a 35" waste and there's easily 15" of excess belt just dangling. Not a single pocket I could dedicate to a speed square unless I want to hog the entire left or right pouch. The furthest back pouches are out of reach without twisting my body 160 degrees, and everything is situated too far back with no way to adjust any closer to the front. It came positioned on the loops as far forward as possible, so the only adjustment would be further back, which is just bananas. The hooks get caught on everything, both going up and down ladders I snagged them on the ladder rungs, the gutters, you name it. Downright dangerous. I ended up tucking them up and in the openings that might otherwise be used to carry a hammer, but there's not enough room for a hammer with the hooks on the bottom. They are positioned in the very front, not in the back like the image shows, just fyi. They're also riveted on.The right side of the belt gets twisted as I weigh up my right side pockets, so much so that the belt folds over on itself. This puts the whole right pouch at an "open" angle, making it easy to spill any of its contents. I ended up having to connect the shoulder straps to the pouch just to keep me from spilling everything on my right side constantly. There's millions of little areas where you could potentially store a pair of pliers, snips, etc, but the main pocket they are nestled in isn't deep enough to hold anything, so they just fall out every time you bend over. This seems like the designer of this rig never had it work tested, nor had they ever done work of any kind where a tool belt was needed. It's absolutely awful, and I'll be happy to return it, despite me not liking to return stuff.Positive reviews must be either unauthentic or from people who clearly didn't put it through its paces. I'm not that hard to please when it comes to tool belts. I wore my last one for 2 years too long and it was a mess, but it was still far better than this thing. If you're a working man, (or woman), in need of a tool rig for work, pass on this one. If you're just some poser putting this on to impress your neighbors, do whatever you want. I tried for a week to make this work, doing everything from framing to roofing. That's enough for me.
