We've had issues with our goldfish dying off of disease with either new goldfish or newly introduced goldfish. Works well, but I wish it came in a larger size. I have a 20 gallon that it works well in. The last one I bought had a cracked cap so I had to recycle one from another bottle to make sure the liquid didn't evaporate after I opened the seal.

I don’t know the specifics I’m just a guy with goldfish that doesn’t want them to die from sink water. With that aside I guess this works. Again I don’t know the specifics but my fish are healthy and haven’t shown any signs of sickness. I don’t know what else to add maybe watch out for the amount you use. I use a literal drop or 2 in a normal sized fish bowl based on YouTube reviews. That works so I’ll keep doing it. Hope I helped anyone

I bought this for a smaller pond that we have and it is easy to use. I have a small pump in it to act like a little water fountain and it moved and sent water out of the pond. It was easy to use this product to replace the small amount of water that was lost.
