VictorinoxMen's Maverick Analog Display Swiss Quartz Watch

wow what a great watch and a great price. i would be happy to pay full retail for this piece, no hesitation. i saw it at a local store alongside tag, hamilton, tissot, raymond weil etc. and this holds up for sure. 316 steel is best steel in use and not too many watches in this price range offer it. this has it. rolex is the only maker using better steel, i think (904). i have it in blue face which is gorgeous. it kind of takes on different shades of blue depending on light. low light it looks nearly black. bright direct sunlight brings it to a nice steel blue. love love love. keeps great time so far and it feels like its really built to last. i can't believe i own this watch for $261. unbelievable.

Just got the watch delivered. Did a check of all functions; bezel is nice and precise, date adjust is smooth, so is time. No scratches or scuffs on the high quality brushed stainless steel. Crystal is also perfect. The quality of the band (with high end deployant clasp) and brushed steel case alone is worth the cost of the watch. Looks 5X the price and has signed crown and clasp with the swiss army logo. I opted for the quartz version for convenience but the automatic at just under $500 would also be a great buy. I was thinking Tag Heuer or Oris but was on a budget and couldn't be happier.

I own a timepiece nearly like this, a Victorinox Chronograph nearly identical to the Maverick model. I've had this piece about eight years, and it's still ticking along, maintaining impeccable time.These watches have a valuable provenance and will last you the rest of your life.

I paid 260 for the blue maverick and I am overall very happy with it. Its a beautiful time piece with a quality bezel. Other retailers both on amazon and outside of amazon have this watch around 400-495. I really don't think the watch is worth it at that price range. Its a fantastic watch with a sapphire glass, accurate Swiss movement, and mediocre illumination. The biggest downfall of the watch is the fact that is has 100 meters of water resistance. Its a sport watch that wants to be a dive watch. A screw down bezel and a little better lume would have easily pushed this watch over the top and would one of the best on the market. Also make sure your pins in the bracelet are secure. I had one fall out but after really hammering it in I haven't had the problem again. Seems to be a recurring issue. If you can find this watch sub 300 BUY IT. Its absolutely worth it.

Gorgeous watch by Victorinox the legendary Swiss Army knife company. The bracelet and case material have a nice weight but not overly heavy. The 43mm case diameter fits my wrist nicely and doesnt feel out of place.The blue dial and bezel lack brightness, I guess to prevent it from being overly flashy. But it doesn't really shine blue unless in bright light. Even the lume isnt very bright at night. Hold the watch under a bright light and bring it to dark room, you can still barely read it. The lume issue isnt a big deal for me as I plan to wear this for less formal day time occasions.I synced it with time.gov and its been true to time for the last few days. As expected with a quart movement, accuracy is usually not an issue. For a “Swiss Made” watch under $300 this is a great buy and will look nice in any watch collection. As a note the warranty card wasnt stamped but I dont usually deal with warranties on smaller purchases like this. I ordered from Amazon directly as the seller.

Love this watch. I had been looking for a quality watch for quite a while. I wanted simple, classy, with date, and military time. This fit the bill, was a good price, and looks great. It's fairly heavy but I got used to it right away. Makes me feel like I got my money's worth. The size is perfect for most men, unless you're into those huge watches. The blueish background is really nice looking under lighted situations. Definitely can be worn for more formal occasions as well as daily use. I do have a little trouble reading the date but that's because I need reading glasses. The only improvement I could suggest is adding a backlight. I can't knock the watch for that since I knew up front it doesn't have a light.

Good looking watch with some heft. No problems in pool and shower. Blue face often looks black.

Soooo….first watch,after I had it fitted. Jeweler engage the bezel to set time/date. Hmmmm….didn’t work. Contacted Amazon directly had a new watch in 3days and refunded the sizing cost. Beautiful watch navy blue face looks like 5k Omega. Amazon was awesome. I don’t know how they did it, but cheers to the staff and reps at Amazon. Other than that I can’t explain what happened. Already big compliments.

Awesome, nothing less! It looks so good in every angle! Feels like a 1000$ watch, really high quality! There's a kind of 3D effectivement on the hours markers and on the hands which looks incredible! It comes in a nice luxury style box to store it.
