If you have reverse osmosis in your home, there’s no need for a water filter in your Keurig, get this and save money. Anyways love the cleaning products, easy to use and keeps the machine making good coffee! I make sure I’m never without the rinsing pods and I always have at least one or two descaling solutions around. So the bundle is nice. Honestly, just stick with the Keurig brand, if you follow the directions like you are supposed to and make sure you’re consistent it works. It is a cleaning product so yes of course there’s a smell.

This works The detailed instructions are on the peeled off label. It clearly tells you to peel off the label much like when you peel off a medicine label shows you at bottom of label so instructions are very clear and you do need to use whole bottle plus add a filled bottle of water to your exterior water storage container. Like it says in detailed instructions. Works very well! You should do this treatment every 3 months. The price is extremely economical at less than $8 every 3 months. Also comes with rinse pods to use once a week for when you use flavored coffee pods or pods hot chocolate. Very happy with my purchases as it's the only one I use to clean my keurig brewer. I have an older model Keurig with a internal water storage area which I had never thoroughly cleaned. I read the pros and cons of this method versus white vinegar. Since this is not done often, I didn't want to take the cheaper route with the vinegar and risk spoiling the taste of the coffee afterwards. I feel this is an expensive solution, but it did work with no unpleasant taste once the process was finished. You do have to make sure you follow the directions exactly and it takes awhile to run through all the water cycles to make sure the product has done its work and is rinsed out of the coffee maker. I will use it again in the future.

For those who cannot find the instructions, they are all online on the official Keurig website. If you do not have a smart phone to scan the QR code on the side of the box, you can google search Keurig and then find the instructions through their product support. I am sure there are also YouTube videos that help with certain models. There are so many different models that the instruction manual would probably be almost as thick as a college text book. I found it pretty easy to do. I have the Classic 2.0 and followed the instructions after I scrolled down and found it. My keurig came back to life after running several cycles of descaling. A lot of people mentioned still smelling or tasting the citric acid. I ran my keurig for 5-6 cycles and found the smell went away. I didn’t have to do the full 12 cycles which is nice because that would take forever. I found it to be effective and helpful. Nothing like having a mini heart attack when your coffee maker stops working. It hasn’t quit on me yet since doing the descaling compared to what others are saying. I do recommend buying the bundle that comes with the water filter for the reservoir. If you’re gonna go through descaling you might as well change your filter too.

After using my Keurig is now acting up. The instructions are incomplete and don't match what came with my Keurig. I will reorder as it's necessary to keep it going. No scent, easy to use, I'd highly recommend using this on the schedule your Keurig tells you. Mine flashes to tell me to descale until I do it
