Healthy and snail free!
I'm not sure if there is variation, but the bunch that I received was very large and wound up being way too much for my 3 gallon Betta tank. However, these were very high quality and healthy plants. They didn't affect my tank: no snails, no worms, or other infestations. Now, after just a few days in my tank, the stems all have root shoots coming out of them. These don't have "regular" roots and can be left floating in the water or anchored to something. If they are happy in your tank, then you'll see the same shoots I've gotten within a few days. My Betta is happy with his new jungle and I would definitely buy this Anacharis from Aquarium Plants Discount again. Update: I have to trim the root shoots on these quite frequently. Each Stem shoots out 1/2 dozen or more and, before I new it, my Betta was swimming through a root maze. As of 11/2016, I still have pieces of the original bunch that is going strong. It was a very good buy!

Beneficial Freshwater Aquarium Plant
My betta is currently in a 1/2 gal. hospital bowl due to resistant tail rot. She rests on her hammock and a pothos plant leaf when she's not swimming. Hopes for her recovery are dismal as I was told her immune system is weak due to age since previous fungal and bacteria treatments have failed. I was anxious to make her environment comfortable so I was very pleased when the plants arrived within two days of placing my order. I switched her to bottled water and added Anacharis as I read it will aid in filtering the impurities and help maintain a proper PH. I added one batch to her bowl and placed the second batch in a bowl of water under lamplight. The surplus is doing well but the Anacharis in the bowl lost it's color, turned translucent and wilted. I think the Jungle Fungus Clear caused this or the plant did not receive enough light for photosynthesis. I changed her water and switched out the plants with the new Anacharis sans medication. Either way, my betta appears pleased with her new tank mates and to my surprise, she started making bubble nests and strange tiny globular looking things in clusters. The water parameters have remained within normal range even after 3 days when she gets a 100% water change.

Lovely, however i had a few unexpected guests. Wash product first!!
I was really excited to receive these plants for my water garden. Shipping was fast and the price was good. I put them into my tank right away. However a few days later i found a shrimp swimming in it. It wasn't meant to have any fish or water critters in it. I only wanted plants. The shrimp ended up dying from the liquid food i give my plants. Yesterday i discovered a snail!!! 🐌 lol. I decided to keep the snail because its good for the tank. But if you dont want any unexpected critters make sure to wash it really good before you put it in the tank.

very disappointed
My plants arrived today in poor condition. Mostly yellow with no green at all. Ordered two bunches, both poor quality. One had only one long stem (yellow) and three black dead slimy pieces about and inch long. the other bunch all yellow with no green at all. I ordered four different types of plants, all in very poor quality. I will not be ordering from this place again.

Faster delivery would help
It came partly dying had to trim quite a bit off and when I put them in my tank alot of the leaves came flying off but they are nice and tall. They reeked in the packaging though. If they had it where you can do overnight delivery or next day delivery it would be a highstar review most likely that or having an ice pack in it or something to keep them fresher.

Very good but Just beware.
My tank looks very good with these plants in my 10 gallon tank. However, buyers beware. You might have a stowaway. As soon as I got it, I took it out and planted them into my tank. About 5 days later, I was looking at the tank and saw something on the glass. On a closer look, it turned out to be a tiny SNAIL. We were like, "It is just one snail. Lets leave it in there." Then, a day later, I saw 2 more and they were MATING. LOL. At this rate, we will have 30 to 50 snails running around in our tank in another week or so, if we don't clean them out of the tank. I really should have washed the plants before putting them in the tank. Other than that my fish loves to munch on them.

Happy plants, happy buyer
I ordered the Ceratophyllum bunch and Egeria (Anacharis) bunch on July 1 and it arrived on July 6. The delivery time was a weekend and two business days (as Friday was the observed holiday for Independence Day). The box was delivered to central Texas on a day where the outside temperature was in the low-90 degrees F (33-34 degrees C). I received four strands of Ceratophyllum and six strands of Egeria which were wrapped individually in moist paper towel sheets, each strand approximately 15-18 cm long, and each bunch joined together with a metal band on the root ends. Each strand was green except for one strand of Ceratophyllum, whose distal end was slightly brown for approximately 3-4 cm. This entire bundle was inside a plastic bag, which was inside the cardboard box. After removing the metal bands and placing the strands in water, they are doing well with no melting. After a day of quarantine and three days inside my aquarium, the brown area seems diminished. I have not noticed any ancillary creatures such as snails. I am happy with the seller and with the delivery. Transporting living things through the mail is never easy, especially when trying to make a living using such methods. I would order from the seller again.

All most dead from lack of light.
All most dead and these are floating plants and only 1 is floating. It came with a substrate and it's made the water cloudy. I'm trying to revive the plants with a 24 hour of grow light. No snails unfortunately.

Thankyou

They started off great due to the amount I received and the previous bunch that I had lasted for a long time, although this sample seemed to have died off after a week or so? Great value for money though with the amount I received if they had lasted longer.

After initial melt whilst the anacharis became accustomed to my tank, they are now thriving and doing very well. Thank you!

Plants looked healthy enough. Immediately rinsed and planted in my tank as they had obviously been in transit didn't want to waste time. Stupid as I am I then finished reading the leaflet. LAST information on it was WARNING do not put straight in tank as grown in insecticides should not be added to tank with crustaceans!!!! Put in ltr water with bicarb etc under strong light for 24 hrs! Too late already in my tank!!! I took them out quickly but had been in for 30 mins at least!! I'm horrified. I didn't see any mention of this in the description on the site or I would not have bought them. I'm furious as the warning should be in description on site and first thing mentioned on leaflet not last!!!!
