Sci-Fi Movie Posters: 6 Cards (Dover Postcards)

Nice selection of old movie posters. Sent to brothers and they loved them. These would be great for decorating too.

I'm a feminist and some of the characters really irk me in old movies, but I can also overlook it for the old cinema, history and nostalgia, and understanding the era. Because I adore old horror flics!I plan to make several small or one large movie poster photo collage with these and other vintage and found stuff. I think I'll order another set to send to friends too.

Don't get me wrong. These are cool cards, with reproductions of the movie posters for "Frankenstein", "Dracula", "The Invisible Man", "Godzilla", and a few others. This set was very inexpensive, so the price was right. My one complaint is that the reverse side, the side you write on, is just blank except for a small description of the front of the card (for example: "King Kong: 1933." I would have liked a line down the middle to separate what you write to the intended recipient from the address and stamp area, and some lines to indicate where the address goes with a little box to show where the stamp goes. I'm not an idiot, so I was able to draw my own line down the center and put the address and stamp in the right places, but it's just something I like on the reverse side of a postcard.Aside from the small complaint, I'm having fun filling them out and sending them. It's just a little something I'm doing while I'm in quarantine.

Movie monster poster-postcards.There! I said it; I bought it. Nicecards to send to an ex-wife: ha, ha!

I didn't mean to buy these but they were to cheap to return.These are good print quality but the paper they are printed on is flimsy. They are tear out and the perforation isn't all that fantastic so one of the postcards tore a little. Bummer, I sent that to a family member I'm mad at.All in all these are meh. I wouldn't buy them again--but then, I didn't mean to purchase them the first time. Don't recommend unless you are a big Sci-fi fan. They aren't great for Postcrossing because they aren't going to take the wear and tear of International mailing.

Fun

I took a chance when ordering these as there wasn't a review yet. The pictures are fine and the thickness of the cards is good. They are pretty small, so you won't be able to fit much writing on them. I'm fine paying $1.99 to get some variety in the cards I've been sending out.

I didn't expect the postcards so be quite so thin. They're fun, but I wouldn't buy them again.
