The filter is easy to install by hand. No oil filter wrench needed. It has a rough texture on the end which gives you the ability to grip it tight enough to install correctly by hand. Thats a plus in itself. I've been using this filter brand since i bought my Ram 1500 in 2020. I recommend it to anyone who owns a car.

Great product but make sure you change @ 6k. No matter what to not void your car warranty. They are great but not worth any headaches

Using this on a 392 Dodge Charger. One of the main concerns I had after reading about it was the smaller holes at the top cap of the filter. Apparently people were concerned it wouldn't flow enough. After some quick math, the sum of the area of the holes is greater than the area of the hole coming out of the engine...so I see no issues here. Further, after switching from K&N's filter to this one, I see no change in oil pressure at all, at any RPM. To me, that says this filter flows well enough. The textured grip is a downgrade from the actually hex nut welded onto the K&N, but it works well enough to grab it and remove it after 5k miles. I'm ok with it given the price difference. The price is very reasonable, it's well constructed, and it does the job I'm asking it to do (which is asking a lot on a motor like the 392). I'm pleased, and will buy more.

Fits well on 2009 Ram 1500 5.7 Seems very well made. The grip stuff is nice but I do wish it was only around the edge as I prefer to write oil change and mileage on the end of the filter and can’t do that with the grip stuff dipped over the end. Not a big deal I’ll just write it on the side but a change I’d hope for at least.

En lo personal, he comprado de distintas marcas incluyendo el Original pero me acomode más con esta Marca y sinceramente me siento muy satisfecho. No llego ni a los 10000 Kms para otro cambio pero prefiero asegurar que arriesgar y el aceite esta en TIEMPO Y FORMA pq igual le meto Castrol Sintético 5w30 a una Explorer 4.0 Litros de 6 Cilindros 2004. Ya han pasado 20 años y se le ha hecho un medio ajuste al motor y estoy conforme con ello. Ampliamente recomiendo este Fram con un Aceite de Buena Calidad para que juntos hagan buen equipo con un filtro de aire igual de calidad

Producto adecuado y en buenas condiciones sin embargo el embalaje y la paquetería no ayudan mucho a que el filtro llegue en buenas condiciones su caja, y hay algunos que traen empaques y pueden salirse y perderse o dañarse durante el traslado

Bigger and better than the smaller recommended size for my year of Hemi Ram. I have been using them on my truck for years. Get them before they are gone. Fram has gone under so they soon won’t be around.
