The only thing I could find on this topic was the comment, "When your cakes taste rubbery, what's happening is that the over-mixing of flour activates the gluten." Sounds like its getting mixed to long.

I bake a lot of pound cakes and vanilla cakes. I was using another cake flour, buying it by the box which got to be expensive so I decided to give General Mills Pure As Snow Cake flour. I have fallen in love with it. It makes the best cakes. I am very satisfied with this product.

Fantastic

After the pandemic, I couldn't find cake flour at all in the store. Fifth pounds is what I always brought so by chance I went to Amazon and found it. This is my second purchase of this cake flour. I've also recommended this product to others and they bought it. I recommend it to all bakers. I put the cake flour in two f-gallon buckets with a lid.Just don't like the delivery.

The powder smells really bad and I don't know how to get rid of it.

The flour had bugs in the bag. The purpose of buying a large amount was for wedding cakes.

Disappointing to discover bugs in the bag. I had to get new flour locally.
