PaidaLajin Self-Healing Bench - Easy Assembly

This table is great. It really help rid of my plantar fasciitis. Better than the boots. I take a little fish collagen to help rebuild the tissue in my feet and I'm good. I use to stretch my feet on the floor every night. And where a PF boot to sleep. They would help alot. But this is the best. You feel tingling all around the bottom of your feet and on the sides up to your toes. You really start to feel it around 5 to 10 minutes each leg. For the hand grips i found weaving it thru the upper table handle holds it in position so that you could grab it for a full stretch of your long tendons.

Yes, the reddish color of the wood frame could be more attractive. Yes, the thin, padded bench could be sturdier and not emit an odd chemical smell. Yes, the velcro leg band could have not had an equally strong smelling odd odor. But, other than the above minor issues, this bench (when used correctly) allowed me to gain much more flexibility in just 1 week. It really hurt the first few days but after that, it became easier. I even went and bought light leg weights to use for the 2nd week. 20 minutes each leg every day has allowed me to get up faster from a sitting chair position and alleviated some pain when getting up after kneeling for a few minutes. I couldn't do anything about the reddish color of the frame but I did replace the woefully thin bench top and chemically smelling vinyl material with a piece of solid 3/4" birch plywood wrapped with a yoga mat and upholstered with a piece of cream colored leather from the local fabric shop. It not only looks great now, but it's solid enough now for a 200+ lbs person. I'm not going to lie, it's a pricey piece of equipment especially with shipping. But if you're handy with wood you can totally duplicate. But, I'm happy with my purchase since I use it every day and I can feel the difference.

It wasn't in the best of condition, it should have been stronger for the price, just didn't feel like taking it apart or I would have sent it back.👎👎☹🙁

I have been looking for a lajin bench for some time. I was taught the stretch some time ago as a cure for sciatica, and I've been doing it with two chairs since I could not find a real bench. This one is perfect. I am 6'3" tall and about 200 pounds, and the bench is large and sturdy enough for me--and the bar for the leg extension is long enough. No assembly was required, and the bench is easy to fold up and transport. The instructions could be clearer and more complete, but the bench itself is first-rate.

This is a well-designed, good-looking, quality piece of furniture. Despite some rather sparse directions, the pieces fit together in a logical way, and it took me only about one hour to unwrap the package and assemble the bench. A hand tool for tightening the bolts was included, so you don't need any other equipment--no hammer, no screw-driver, etc. It seems quite sturdy: I weigh 150 lbs and I think it could possibly support even someone twice as heavy. I was delighted to see that it also came with 2 velcro straps for tying the leg down while you are exercising. (I only use one of these and I can fasten it myself,so I don't need to depend on my wife every time I want to do Lajin.) There is also included a complete manual explaining Paida-Lajin . . . in Chinese! I have used the bench daily for almost 2 months and it shows no sign of wearing out. In sum, I am very happy with this purchase.

I'm so relieved to finally own a lajin bench. My whole family can use it.
