A great coffee table book

I enjoy reading the endless trivia that portrays each U.S. President with personal, sometimes embarrassing anecdotes that are assumed factual and make the men real to the reader.

A lot of interesting comments and my grandson reads a few pages every day.

Bought this for studying up for Trivia Night where "U.S. Presidents" is the host's favorite category. After 3 weeks of study, the book arrived and had plenty of obscure facts and stories to tie together what my husband already knew. Creating this timeline has helped bring history alive like my school years never did!

A good book but there are a lot of other trivia items that would have been more interesting than some of ones included here. Also in the multiple updates of this book they failed to correct one of the oversights. One of the questions asked in which one year were there three presidents. The given answer is 1841 which is true but they don't mention 1881 which was the same basic circumstance.

I sometimes return to this book for a trivial brunch, where I dine on the snippets of trivia about the presidents. Great for a conversation starter, for trivia nights and even just for your own intellectual satisfaction. And if like me, you want to learn more about the presidents, get this book. As president Rutherford B. Hayes was quoted as saying, “Every expert was once a beginner.”

My 14 year old loves facts about the presidents. He has enjoyed reading this book.
