Best scoop around!
Absolutely the best. Made in USA. Feels solid. This will roll a near perfect ball of ice cream with moderate effort. It is NOT a replacement for a soft serve drawer which some fridges have, but it exceeded my expectations. The ice cream from the freezer will still have some resistance, and this will reduce that effort. I would definitely purchase again!

I didn’t think I could look forward to enjoying ice cream even more but the Zeroll proved me wrong
I’ve bought a number of scoops w/ the ejector, or even a decent looking kitchenaid scoop in the past. Every one of those has broken. With ice cream scoops, I had figured that they were mostly commoditized and about the same and marginal differences were all that separated them. I was wrong. My kitchenaid scoop had bit the dust, the handle snapping right off as I tried to muscle through an especially hard pint. So I finally took the plunge and got the Zeroll. It actually works. The scoop definitely cuts through the ice cream a little easier. A super hard pint will still require some effort but it’s noticeably easier than the several others I’ve owned. Even without pre-heating or warming up the scoop it definitely just cuts different. Secondly, the thing is a tank and I have no fear of snapping this handle off ever. The only downside to the Zeroll is that my ice cream intake has increased. If you are the kind of person that really enjoys getting the right tool for the job and having it just work perfectly, this is it. Yes it’s more expensive, but it’s the same price as three pints of nice ice cream these days. I hate that I’m fawning over an ice cream scoop but it’s just so good.

Solid but push rather than pull.
Once you get used to using it in a push manner rather than a pull manner, works like a charm. Solid feeling.

PERFORMANCE OUTWEIGHED THE COST
And I know what alot of you are thinking and that would be how could I or anyone else pay $20 for an ice cream scoop. Actually when it comes to ice cream we don't think too much about it except for taste, creaminess and that it goes into a bowl or cone. I bought this ice cream scoop for the extraction of my families ice cream our freezer makes the ice cream more solid and frozen than the grocery store freezers do and I had grown tired of scooping it with a spoonit was difficult and most times hurtful because of the steel in my neck. So I finally threw in the towel and bought this ice cream scoop it is filled with a liquid in the handle so when your hand grips it it'll automatically start heating the scoop part of it which in turns adds a bit of heat to push through the ice cream effortlessly and no you'll not burn yourself the liquid is a subtle heat energy source that heats just enough to barely melt but allows you to push through the ice cream without effort. The price may be staggering for some but I'm letting you know that it worth it. It's corrosion free and flake chip free it has an amount of silver in the product which helps against all this. But do not put in a dishwater or let it sit in water any of these just and will beat the scoop up and eventually brake down the materials to the point of it becoming useless. Follow the care instructions to the letter and this scoop can be handed down for generations and it's way better than the ones with the plastic handles and have the lever to release the ice cream. This one all you gotta do is touch the ice cream to your bowl or cone and it'll release naturally couldn't ask for a better ice cream scoop than this one. Enjoy your scoop and your ice cream

Works well
It does seem to work, heats up with with heat from your hand or hot water. Still best to let the ice cream melt a bit before using. The shape is a little awkward to get into corners of the box.

Well designed and well constructed
Heavy duty construction. Should last a lifetime if you don't clean in the dishwasher. I purchased an inexpensive scoop and returned since it wasn't what I expected. Pay more and get more with this scoop. Pay attention to the sizes. For my family the smaller size works well since we scoop ice cream for adults as well as kids and this gives you more control.

2nd one bought it again - LOVE - Don’t put in dishwasher
Ok so here is the scoop lol 😂. I love this ice cream scooper it’s my favorite. At the time of my first purchase years ago it only came in one size and it’s just the right size IMO though I did consider going bigger second time around but I’m happy with the scoop size. My son accidentally put it in the dishwasher! Noooo but truthfully I’m surprised someone didn’t try to put it in the dishwasher sooner. The reality is you can’t put it in the dishwasher and it’s so dang easy to just rinse off after scooping that there really a reason other than laziness to put it in the dishwasher. So it has a chemical on the inside that lets you scoop the perfect scoops from rock hard frozen ice cream that slightly melts the ice cream so you don’t hurt yourself and you get an actual scoop from it. It’s freaking amazing. I really think I would have never had to buy a second one unless it was for a gift which I would buy it as a gift if my son never stuck the first one in the dishwasher lol 😂. It seriously never chipped, never rusted, never pitted, it’s ultra durable for ever lasting just don’t put it in the dishwasher. I mean instructions clearly state don’t put in dishwasher lol 😂. So what happens when it goes into the dishwasher well to start it turns black lol 😂. Which is a plus because automatically you know it’s broken so you have to get a new one. Hack: Wanna scoop even faster and melt a little quicker? Shake it before scooping 😊👍. You will have a full bowl of perfect ice cream scoop balls in no time. I will never buy a different ice cream scooper ever. Ever since we have owned it, it’s my favorite. If you love ice cream and can’t stand how hard it is to scoop your ice cream you need this scooper ! Highly recommend if I could give it 20 stars I would!

Sizing Help
The ice cream scoops from Zeroll are great - easy to use and clean. The only issue I had was it was difficult to figure out which size to order (the same picture showed up on multiple sizes). Counterintuitively (to me at least), the smaller the Zeroll number, the bigger the scoop. Anyway, the first Zeroll I ordered was a number 16, which would be appropriate for a scoop of ice cream to go on a brownie or a piece of pie. I will use this one when buying ice cream quarts. That said, I often buy pints of gelato, and then I prefer a smaller scoop. The second one I ordered was a size 24, and it's perfect for use in pints.

Works perfectly
So many ice cream scoops can scoop perfectly but does not release the ice cream. Not so this Zeroll scoop. A quick dip in water before use means the ice cream is perfectly scooped and dropped. An end to frustrating scooping and gouging.

It must be witchcraft
I consider myself a bit of an icecream connoisseur. I have spent years chasing the ever elusive icecream scoop that can glide through my icecream as if it was the softest clouds. After trying multiple scoops, time and time again I’ve drowned in disappointment. But then on one glorious day, the heavens separated, and they showed me the most life changing scoop I would ever know. The Zeroll scoop touts itself as a professional tool for scooping luscious and majestic spheres of creamy luxurious delight in a business setting. I have no doubt it is an exemplary, and more than worthy scoop for any business owner; but for me, a mere at home, 1-2 servings a day average user, this scoop has been life changing. The way it glides through the I icecream, it feels as though you are scooping whipped cream or mousse, it’s almost alarming, you may think the icecream has somehow melted and softened because how is it so easy to scoop??! But that’s just the magic of the zeroll scoop. I don’t know what black magic it is that makes it work so good, but I like it.

Great to use!
1.5oz was the perfect size for a pint and very easy to use. Previously, I have been using an Ikea spoon to scoop my ice cream from the haagen dazs pints and it was so painful to use. This scoop made my life a lot easier and allowed me to scoop out the portions that I want.
