Beautiful bound edition.

I really like my copy of these books. I read them well over 30 years ago, but have recently been encouraged to revisit them. The names are so much easier for me to pronounce than those in Les Miserables.The book has the look of a nice classic and belongs with other books of this category on my bookshelf.

The story is the same except it was probibly from a Latin or Roman translation due to the gods names being Roman and not Greek. my confuse some readers. Otherwise a good read/

This is a beautiful copy. My daughter had asked for these books for Christmas, and I was thrilled to find her such a high quality and beautiful combo at a good price. This has a timeless feel to it -- 20 years from now, it will still look like a beautiful book.

I really enjoyed the story. The writing itself is fantastic. It is good story to talk to with other people to see their opinions. I didn't find any insight from the stories themselves. The characters are self centered and have regard for lives of them under their command. I really don't like the gods.
