Tough 1 Royal King Deluxe Flat Roping/Contest Reins

I was hoping to have a rein with a little more weight to it. But I can’t take away a star for that. The soft braid has a hollow core. The ends are nicely finished and the hardware is decent quality. If I were looking for a lighter rein this would have been perfect.

These reins are wonderful, soft and easy to hold, love the roping reins when taking photos, you dont have to worry about dropping one or piling the long reins on your lap, love them and easy to use and great quality too.

Returned mine b/c they were really short. I have a 16.2 thoroughbred and I wanted a set of clip on reins to attach to the halter or hackamore but they are really short so they don't work for a casual long rein ride. But functionally they are a seemingly great product and durable hardware. I loved the feel of the reins, they weren't super thick or thin so you still felt there was something there.

I ordered the reins thinking they were at least 1" in width (in the product description it says 2" inches). The reins are 0.7" in width and seem toyish. Quality is also very suspect: the braiding is quite loose and the reins themselves are overly soft. How will they hold in tough equestrian environment? Very disaapointing

When the description said reins - I was expecting two separate reins - not one with two clasps - the picture is hard to see. Should of looked closer I guess. They are very light. I was looking for two separate heavier rope type reins

I needed to have reins that I could tie knots in. Due to arthritis I have to hand strength. These work great for that and I like the size of the rope in my hand. The only thing I don't like is that it stretches, kind of a lot when your working with a feel to the horses mouth.

The quality on this item was fantastic, and the construction was so soft. Unfortunately, it was too short to use on my horse. If it came in a longer length, I would re-order.

I love that these come in solid black. Very durable and the snaps are good quality. Would buy again.

Awesome reins received quickly

Not gonna use them.. they stretch, they're short, very hard to keep clean. But overall seems solid and the clasps are durable and nice

Love these! Wasn't sure about the brand or pride, figured they wouldn't be that great. I'm surprised. They will be great for winter riding. No more stiff leather during the cold months! The feel is very nice also. Great for big winter mitts. Love these! Highly recommend.
