Adorable Comfortable Witchy. Adjustable leg. Fits my skinny ankle and plus size calf
I LOVE these shoes. I've been looking several years for a victorian inspired, witchy looking shoe. I'd love them to be real leather. But, I don't want to pay a hefty price for a shoe I'll wear 2 or 3 times a year. I don't want my ''cheaper than real leather'' shoes to look cheap either. These shoes don't look cheap. (looks like you paid twice the price)These are really cute and victorian/witchy looking.I'm older with an old ankle injury and always wear either a flat shoe or I'm barefooted. So any heel has to be stable and comfortable. I stood on my weak foot/ankle and ''wiggled'' the weight of my body on the shoe, testing for stability. It passed that test with flying colors. This shoe is very easy to walk in with a stable heel that doesn't feel like a high heel. It feels/walks like about 2" height. I do recommend adding a thin insole inside this shoe. I got a thin, cheap pair for $2 bucks to place inside. It's ok without an insole, but my other shoes have an insole and I'm spoiled.I'm also a plus sized gal with bigger calves and a skinny ankle (that is a sometimes hard to fit combo). The shoes zip up for ease in getting on/off, but also have real lacing up the front, making them adjustable from the ankle all the way up to thru the top of the calf. I loosened the top couple inches of lacing, slipped my foot inside, zipped the shoe, adjusted the laces to my ankle and calves. Now they zip on and off without further adjustment. For roughly $30 I got everything I wanted. Perfect buy!

Super attractive boots but so uncomfortable
I will start by saying these boots are insanely attractive and the sizing did fit my foot. However, after wearing these for a few hours for a night out with friends my feet are completely tore up. I wound up having to take the boots off and carry them to my car and walk barefoot from a Main Street up a multiple story parking garage. Thats how miserable I was in these! The sizing fit with some room to spare but the material inside was rubbing and digging into my feet. My feet are covered in painful blisters! I mostly bought these to wear to a reinassance fair this weekend but liked them so much I decided to wear them out on our night out with friends. I am so glad I did a test run tonight and discovered how uncomfortable these were because this weekend would've been horribly miserable in these boots. I am truly not sure how so many people are saying these boots are so comfortable and that they've walked long distances in them! I'm really shocked by that! These boots fit great but were not designed for comfort in mind in my opinion. Also, if youre someone like me that notices a heel and that uncomfortable feeling you get in your foot when the arch is too much for you I will note that I noticed that feeling with these. I was trying to keep up pace walking Downtown with friends and felt the arch had me off balance with my walking and was at that uncomfortable height. I can wear heels and even walk distances in them if they're done correctly and theyre not arching my feet too much. Great for a photoshoot or short time wear, for me atleast. I am just not sure I can keep these foot torture chambers. Probably returning. If these were more comfortable I would totally rate these 5 stars! Don't get me wrong. They're super attractive and beautiful boots. I even got a couple of complements on them while we were out! I decided to make this review hoping it would help someone atleast bring some backup shoes with them if they have sensitive feet like I do and not get caught in the same predicament I did with them. Very painful!

First pair of heels I've worn in years!
I love these boots soo much!First off, I don't like heels and wear them maybe once a year, if that. Honestly I think the last time I wore heels was close to three years ago. My ankles turn in so wearing heels is usually a recipe for twisted ankles. This year I wanted to dress up for Halloween ( Deluxe Hooded Robe, Red/black ) with my daughter and realized that it really needed shoes/boots to go with it. After poking around a bit I picked these out, upsized from my 7 1/2W to an 8M and crossed my fingers until they arrived. Boy was I pleased when I tried these on! Not only did they fit comfortably despite my wide feet, but despite there being a zipper on the side the laces actually do come undone with a tongue behind them. My calves are rather thick and I've always had a problem with boot ankles being loose while the calf area was super tight (if it fit at all). Because I was able to loosen the laces these flow with my leg beautifully and are super comfortable. The heels also don't totter and I can walk around in these without feeling like I'm about to fall over and twist an ankle. If you're looking for costume boots for steampunk, Victorian, goth, or Halloween these work. So glad I bought these and might even wear them on a semi-regular basis they are so comfortable.

Comfortable, but not particularly durable
So I bought these shoes to wear with my steampunk/Victorian gear. Pros: nice looking shoes and quite comfortable to walk around in, right out of the box. I'm a size 7 (very narrow feet and extremely high arches) and these fit just fine. They're quite comfortable! Keep in mind I wear actual corsets to steampunk/Victorian-era events, so my level of what is "comfortable" might vary from yours. Hahaha! Anyhoodle, seriously, they are quite nice to wear. In my everyday life, I'm a flats girl, so heels are a bit of stretch for me. At the end of two (different) long days wearing my gear, the only part of me that hurt was my ribcage, from the corset. My feet were fine. So the shoes are quite comfortable. However, these are not real leather (duh) and they are not going to last as the polyurethane turns brittle and starts flaking off. If I could find this type of shoe in real leather for a reasonable price, I would buy them as an investment piece. I had to knock a star off because of the durability, but otherwise, these get a solid 4/5 for comfort and wearability. I'm wearing the shoes in the photo.

The Miracle Fashion Boot That Actually Fits!
I bought these on a lark because they only had one pair left in my size and I fell in love. But then reality hit. What was I thinking? There was NO WAY these fashion boots were going to fit. I'm a 7.5 wide, and I can search all day for boots just like these that will fit me, and I usually come up empty handed. They're always way too narrow; it's a nightmare. I braced to return my new lovely boots.IMAGINE MY SHOCK. THEY ACTUALLY FIT TRUE TO SIZE. I genuinely can't believe it. They're comfortable, they look great, they fit everywhere, they're sturdy for a fashion boot, and they're exactly my style. Definitely my new favorites for this Fall. They weren't free, they ain't paying me to say it. I'm just a pleasantly shocked happy camper.
