Q: can i use it in cooking? is it food grade?

Q: Does the 2 oz bottle of Lavender Oil come with a dropper?

I've purchased five other brands of lavender oil and they all came with a dropper. My bottle of NOW® did not have a restricting insert and did not have a dropper. The other droppers from the other brands did not fit the NOW® bottle. Wish this company would include a dropper.

Q: Is this lavandula angustifolia essential oil? I'm told there is a difference between this and just lavender oil. Can someone please specify for me?

I think this oil is lavandula officinalis. Hope this helps. Still a great oil. I have enjoyed the pleasant smell. It has become one of my fav.
