Cedarlooks 11007TT Log Garden Tea Set Bench

We had one like this as a gift 2 years ago and so decided to buy one ourselves. We live on the water so need something that will hold up to cold snowy winters and hot in the summers. We love the bench but there are a few caveats (1) You must put it together yourself, so if you are not handy or never have done it, you may want to get someone who has done this thing before to help, (2) I predrilled the holes so the screws would go in easier - make the hole width smaller than the screws, (3) All the benches have cracks in the wood and they tell you that in the instructions. They are I believe because of the drying process. (3) The bench comes in pieces as noted above, BUT the packaging is terrible and we have had to send one back because of damage to product. They take a box and then just put the wooden pieces in with no padding or paper or bubble wrap, so the wood moves inside during shipping. As you might guess the box is heavy. When you open it, save the box in case you need to send it back because of damage. Given the negatives I mentioned, we liked the bench enough so we have bought other products of theirs, but again the packaging is terrible.

Very pleased with this bench. Sturdy and easy for two to put together. Attractive and fairly comfortable, although we did buy nice cushions for it. We will probably stain it rather than let it naturally go gray. I would buy from this company again.

easy to assemble, quality product, looks great

Had this at a waterfront lake house for 10 years, then by our fire pit in the backyard for 8 more. Ready to finally replace after almost 20 years, weathered but still functional. I just moved to where sun and salt air will turn it into driftwood instantly. If those are the things you like, you should buy one.Update: Arrived in a damaged box with one leg missing. Called the number on the side of the box and the leg arrived in about 4 days after speaking with Erica in customer service. Assembled beautifully. Couple things: 1. Note that when wood seasons "in the round" it checks, meaning visible cracks-these are not a structural issue. 2. These are real comfortable for a beer with a pal or lunch with the wife or laptop.Very good product, great customer service.

This bench was relatively easy to put together with a rubber mallet. Now assembled, it is surprisingly comfortable for sitting in the yard with a cup of coffee. Its simple style fits in well with my contemporary house, but would not be out of place in a more traditional setting.
