Even though it didn't install itself... I broke down and gave it 5 stars anyway! LOL.I was fortunate to have a friend's autoshop bay available to unbolt everything with the truck in the air, drop the pan and replace the gasket and the little o-ring for the oil takeup tube..The gasket was in great condition upon arrival, packaging intact, and fit to the pan and engine block just like it's supposed to..Nice to have that job done!

My daughter's Tahoe had an AFM lifter fail. So, I decided to do a DOD/AFM delete because it was likely the other lifters would be more failing soon, too. I decided to gather all of the parts necessary vs buying a pre-assembled kit. I didn't cheap out on quality and still saved ~$130 over the TSP kit with fewer necessary parts.After tuning out the AFM, the Tahoe started right away and ran like new with no ticking and no CEL.

2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3L This year I replaced my Rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, Oil cooler line gasket and finally had a chance to install the Felpro Oil Pan gasket. Worked like a charm and no more leaks! I have replaced most gaskets with FelPro products for their quality!
