OK for the family, too hard for the 5 year old without supervision

This is an excellent book for an English speaking teacher to teach the French language. There are over 125 or more different languages games that can promote language learning in ANY language. Each game list the skill, resources, aim, and group size. The games can be used for reading, comprehension, vocabulary, listening and speaking. I also teach reading for children who have difficulty, and I will also use the games for English speakers.

I am finding this book a real gem in the classroom. It covers reading, writing, listening and speaking and all the games are so clearly explained. All the children are really engaging with it.

This is beautifully presented. I always find game rules hard to understand for some reason, but this is very accessible.

I have dipped into this book quite a bit. It's really good to take the games beyond the usual bingo etc. I especially like the ones that get the children chanting words like the secret signal game and hide and seek because I think this reinforces vocabulary without them realising it

I bought this book to give me inspiration as I have recently returned to teaching. An inspired purchase! It is now my first stop when looking for an interesting way to engage my primary pupils. The games are well described and provide step-by-step instructions. I really like the variety offered and, more importantly, the children I teach love the games too.
