Currently being sent back for a full refund! Stanley boil + brew French press i recieved today is absolutely amazing quality! This is my first French press ever. I have not used it yet, I washed it and filled with water to try the pour spout and that is the only negative I see so far. The water was coming out around the bottom of the pour spout from the stainless steel part. I tried several times and it would spill every time. Other than that there is a amazing snug fit where the screen is so I'm sure my coffee will not have grounds in it. The handles fold shut and the lid, the brew cup side and bottom all have the Stanley logo. If you dont have one go get one. You can do like I will and use a camp stove to cook with and keep it looking new for years. I will not be cooking directly in it. I use a camp water kettle to heat water and then pour into my French press. Thanks for amazing quality Stanley!

Lasted for two years before my handle mount broke off. I haven't contacted Stanley yet, but this thing is amazing. I have boiled milk, soup, chili and so on in this. Coffee is easiest to do. Just pour your water in and let it sit and bingo, great coffee less than 10 minutes later. I have also boiled water while camping, or just being lazy or during power outages, and I HAVE my coffee, while everyone else goes to coffee stands (BUT what happens when those coffee stands are out of power like when a whole peninsula looses power) .... I STILL HAVE my coffeeThe design is simple, still plunges great and has suction. Coffee doesn't stay hot for long though, thats a downfall. Compact enough. I have stuck in my packs and doesn't take up tons of space, and I like that its just two pieces minus the lid.I USE it daily.

Bought this for my husband as a gift before going camping. He was using the tea bag type of coffee but now he can have a real cup of Joe. Tried it on our gas top stove. Very easy to make, just need to figure out how much coffee you need for your taste. Made enough for 2 regular 12 ounce carry mugs which he usually drinks with some left over. Taste great, makes a great cup of Joe. A must for camp.

I use this to make coffee when I am camping. If you are only making one or two cups, this is perfect. I do wish that the bottom was a little wider. You have to use care setting the pot on the grates in my camper. I love that it takes up so much less space than my kettle and French Press.

Gave this a try before going camping and it worked great. The container is way bigger than I thought it would be which will work great as a ramen noodle bowl (lol). Using the press was easy and the handles did not get hot hot while on the stovetop. Now with that said, if you’re using this over a campfire BE CAREFUL and use an oven mitt or towel to remove from the fire. All in all a great cup of coffee!12oz of water to a heaping tablespoon of Bustelo coffee.

Used it for a week in the mountains on a moto camping trip. Worked great. Was a life saver for the mornings. Highly recommended and very well made.
