TYC Cabin Air Filter Compatible with 2001-2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Easy install. Prurchased this pt dream cruiser over a year ago and put in storage. Upon opening filter openings, there wasn’t one🤣. Installed and the air actually smells better than the fumes from the engine used to have. Thanks!

Wish it was bigger

Don't waste your money on filters that cost more, i previously had a wix premium cabin air filter installed in my 09 pt cruiser. When i got this one in the mail i compared the two and they looked identical, the thickness of the material was even the same.So if you're worried about the quality of the filter vs the other ones i assure you this filter will get the job done, just remember to replace every 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. These filters are designed to catch all the pollutants coming from out side your vehicle going in, you don't want to be breathing all that stuff when your filter goes bad.

This filter was a perfect fit for my 2007 PT Cruiser. Be advised, however, it is a pain in the butt to install due to the design of the PT Cruiser. I had to remove the windshield washer reservoir to gain access. Once access was gained, it was super simple to install. Make sure to insert correctly by following the airflow arrow.

It's a filter? I had to partially remove my wiper fluid reservoir to get the filter installed, not the filters fault, the space was too tight to slide it in otherwise, but anyone who owns a PT knows that Chrysler only gave ample room in the interior and not under the hood, so not unexpected, and probably why most US dealerships never bothered to install cabin filters.

I recently acquired a 2003 Pt Cruiser Touring Edition with standard 2.4 l engine. Luckily I also have the Chrysler Service manuals issued for this car.I read that the cabin air filter was only included with "Export" cars and it was the "Dealer's" discretion to accept delivery with the filter element installed. So I took a chance and ordered one.Glad I did. I took off the cowling and loosened the window washer reservoir bottle and discovered there is a filter box with removable grate already installed. But, "No Filter". Looks like a filter was never installed at the factory.

Installed in my PT Cruiser and worked satisfactorily.
