Dream House Doodles Paperback – September 24, 2013

Dream House Doodles is a follow-up to the author's Designer Doodles series. In those books, the artist created fashion-related patterns, drawings, and designs. In Dream House Doodles, the artist creates furniture, wallpaper, art, and myriad other housewares to create eye-pleasing interiors of her or his own design. This book has a very high entertainment value. If you love to color and draw and you enjoy decorating, I know you will really appreciate this book.The pages are high-quality paper, not newsprint, so most markers won't bleed through. (Permanent markers DO bleed through, FYI.) Younger children may be frustrated by the amount of drawing they are asked to do if they're trying to make it look as good as the illustrations already in the book. I would reserve this book for ages 10 and up. It's the perfect coloring book for adults (like me) who have never outgrown them. I recommend a fine-tip black drawing pen for continuing the pictures and drawing designs in this book.

I like this book. The directed drawing is stress free. It is fun and relaxing. No pressure to get it right. My only complaint is that the softcover binding makes it impossible to lay it flat to draw in. It would be so much better if it had a spiral binding. I might take another reviewers advice and have my local office store do that for me.

Cute concept. Finish the already started doodles... My daughter loved it. Have purchased more than one in different subject matters. Recommend.

This is a great book for older kids (or even adults!). I bought it for my daughter and I kept doodling in it as well. There are pictures to color and also little things to complete.

This art book allows kids to finish the picture, design and be creative. My daughters ( 7 & 9) have 3 different books, and they enjoy them all. Even an adult would enjoy doodling them...

This is a fun book if you love to decorate your house. You get to fill in the basic lines to make your own patterns.
