Q: Will the flowers fade out after being washed?

No, the pattern on the dress will not fade if you wash in cold water and dry it at any temperature. If the dress is too long, as it was on me (5'4"), you can wash it in cold water and dry it on medium or high and it will shrink shorter in length but not in "width" at the waist or bust. After I washed this dress in cold water and dried it on HIGH, it fit perfectly, no fading of the colors, and looks great. The length was shortened to my ankles, which was a plus, as it dragged on the floor before (shortened about 2.5-3 inches). If the length is good for you, I suggest drying it on Low or maybe Air. For reference, I am 5'4", 39-32-39.

I am 5’ 1.5” and had to hem mine. It was pretty simple though, and way the first time I finished hemming something myself successfully! I love the dress so much, I say go for it!
