Jurassic World Special Edition Junior Novelization (Jurassic World) Kindle Edition

My son wanted to dress up as Owen for Halloween, but at public schools they have "Book Character Parades" (on Halloween) instead of "Halloween" parades. Rather than buy/make another costume, I bought this book to go with his not-Halloween costume for his not-Halloween parade. He loves it though because it goes right along with the movie.

I haven't read it, but my son, a ten year old who acts like a grumpy teenager who never wants to read ended up reading the whole book in a weekend. He actually sat down at the table just to read this book. I was amazed. It is fairly short and the print is a lot bigger then an adult book, but it got him to read! He now decided that it was such a good book he is reading the original Jurassic Park; a much bigger and harder book. I don't think he'd have tried that without this book. He said it is completely true to the movie in every way. The color pictures in the middle are of good quality as well. Seems my son liked that it was "special edition" so I told him it cost $100. Now he pampers it like nothing I have ever seen him pamper before. I am amazed that by getting the right book, your kid will actually read.

A good junior novel that doesn't reveal the ending! The only problem is I would have preferred more "scripted" items as is usually the standard of junior novels. This felt more like another promotion for the movie than actual merchandise.

Followed the movie, but did not linger on the violent/scary parts. I think it’s appropriate for ages over 10 or 11. Entertaining and fast paced.

Follows the movie well, however. I noticed there is much diolog that's in the movie that isn't in the book (trust me on that, I've been a JP nerd since u was 9. I know my movies and books). If anything, the book should have more.

I bought this for my 8 year old son, he loves it. I just finished reading it, for an adult it only takes about an hour at most to finish. I haven't seen the movie but other reviews say it follows it well, which is a good way to know if it would be too scary for my son to see. plus the scary/gory parts weren't written in excruciating detail so I know the book won't traumatize him.

I loved it and I loved the second one there both so good I liked them as much as the movie!!!!!!!

Great book for any kid between the ages of 7-11. Follows the movie very closely. My 7 year old loves it.
