Looked for a long time for the perfect wall light and this one was perfect!

This sconce comes with everything you need to mount it, and goes on without any problems. I did have to adjust my electrical box to make the translucent sconce lay flat against the wall, but that says more about my carpentry skills than the light.Two things worth noting, especially if you're using LED bulbs rather than incandescent.1) The light fixture is oriented sideways, meaning that the bulb faces to the left. If you're using an LED bulb, the left side will get more light than the right. Actually, I'd imagine this is the case with regular bulbs as well. I just assumed the light bulb was right-side-up, but that's not the case2) The glass is heavily tinted, and blocks a lot of light. I understand that the point of a sconce is to spread illumination upwards, not so much outwards, but again, if you're using LED bulbs, you better go with a 75-100 watt equivalent.Those two things aside, I really like this light fixture, and imagine it'd look nice pretty much anywhere.

This sconce is pretty bright because the glass is thin. But looks nice. Only issue I have is that light leaks out around the edges because it doesn't fit tight against the wall no matter how tight anything is screwed. But it gives off a nice bright light with low wattage bulb.

These were the finishing touch for our home theater. Nicely finished, and well packaged for complaint free delivery. Excellent value.

I just installed two of these and found them attractive and priced well.Both arrived packed well and unbroken.They were very easy to install.The design forces the half-bowl to be supported by the finnial, but this worked fine as long as you make sure the parts are in the right position when you tighten it. If they are not, the bowl will easily come off. One reviewer bashed this, but I suspect it was user error. They are secure when assembled correctly.I would recommend these and they complement similar amber lighting bowls I have on my ceiling fan.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but after a frustrating couple hours with this fixture I thought I might be able to save someone some time. I needed this light to sit against the wall of my hallway. It will not. The only thing holding the glass is the tiny bronze button screw at the bottom that tightens up against the bronze bracket. This kind of pinches the glass between the wall bracket and the bronze trim bracket. There is nothing you can do to adjust the glass vertically. So, if you need the glass to sit against a wall this is not the sconce you want. When installed I could see the entire wall bracket between the wall and the glass.Also, there's so little holding the glass I feel like if it were bumped accidentally there's a good chance the glass would come out of the bracket and drop to the floor.Just a bad design in general.

I bought 2 of these and they look great! To clear up various reviews I read these came with A-19 ceramic sockets which are your standard light bulb socket; angled sideways into the light. No problem fitting regular shaped Led Bulbs by just slightly pulling/bending the ceramic sockets holder outwards with one finger to make certain bulb clears the mounting ball inside. That said I used Led 60 watt equivalent bulbs ( ones that are a little shorter than others which centers the bulb behind the glass perfectly and they give off light 360 degrees for even lighting. ) and found that the light in the room was a touch to over powering and rendered to much of the soothing warm coloration from the glass shades into the room. But by using the 40 watt equivalent Led bulbs of same/ similar size style as the above that nailed it perfectly no dimmer switch needed and perfect balance of accent and light that the other lamps in the room were still useful but not necessarily had to be the sole sources of light!

Great light at a great price! Nice size, good ambient lighting. Bought two for the living room. Glass is very rich looking. Adds enough character to the room without being overpowering.

Good price for what it is. I do like the look, but I’m a bit disappointed at how difficult it was to get the glass flush to the wall, which allows a sliver of light to escape around the side of the glass. Not a huge fault, but detracts from the look. (Sorry, Tried to provide photo, but doesn’t come through in picture) They were easy to wire in and seem to be decent quality.

Purchased two of these when my husband accidentally (maybe it was on purpose? Who knows!) broke the shade to the existing shades we had. These were easy for me to install (because let’s face it, why risk him breaking these ones too?) highly recommended, fits the rest of our decor...maybe keep your husband away from them if he’s clumsy like mine.

Love these wall lights. I had the wiring roughed in otherwise it would be difficult to install.
