This says "soft touch"; is it still official weight & size? or should i buy a "regular" touch if i'm training my young teenage daughter to play?

Hi,Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. Yes this is official weight and size. The soft touch just refers to the ball having a bit softer fell. Softer feeling balls are easier on the wrists of volleyball players. They do not sting as much and most average to higher end volleyballs are a softer feel. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks again.Larry, LNC Sports, LLC

Can you use this in the pool?

I bought one of these a few years ago and always used it in the pool! It works but eventually it started to peel and get rips from the chlorine.

Would this be too heavy for 7 year old? She is just starting volleyball clinics

Hi,Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. This would be perfectly fine for a 7 year old, as it is pretty much the same weight as any official size volleyball. It has a softer feel so it would be very user friendly for a younger child. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks again.Larry, LNC Sports, LLC

Hmm. Not sure. It's true to the details listed on Amazon.
