KFI Products100705 Winch Mount for Honda Rancher 420 2x4/4x4

Fits perfectly no movement. All the hardware fit perfectly. The plate was great solid piece of metal I'm not worried about it failing.

In my research I determined this is the winch mount to use to mount Superwinch LT 3000 ATV on my 2010 Honda Rancher. The install was easy and all for this mount. The issue I encountered was with the winch. The directions for the winch say to mount the winch in the underwound position , not the overwound position. In the underwound position , the wire rope cannot feed through the fairlead rollers without being kinked. therefore I used the overwound position to achieve a straight pull through the fairlead. This is not recomended by the winch maker. I was unable to find any information that this mount plate was exactly what I need to mount the superwinch to the 2010 Honda Rancher.I made an educated guess. I do not see a problem here as I intend to use this winch mostly for a plow lift, and mounting the winch backward seems to work.There needs to be more information available as to what mount works with what what machine. There were many questions about this and most questions were answered by customers who were not sure "it should work" !!!!???.

I bought this mounting plate back in Feb for my new Honda Rancher ATV. I mounted a 3500 pound Super Winch on it. So far I have put over 900 miles on my Honda.The installation was a breeze and fit perfectly. The only reason I rated it 4-stars is that I would like to have paid a little more and had stainless steel hardware included in the package.Instead I had to go to the hardware store to buy all stainless steel hardware items. The reason I need stainless is because of the exposure to salt during the winter months in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Salt and unprotected steel hardware doesn't mix very well.Other than that, I've been very satisfied with the product. I'm glad I bought a winch for my ATV because I had to use it the first time I took it out on a snowy dirt road and have used it many time since. I've used my winch at least a dozen time and had not experience any movement of the winch. It is definitely securely attached to the front bumper of the Honda.Happy ATVing...

Easy to install

It fit okay and it worked with the badlands winch. THE MOUNTING HARDWARE IS ENTIRELY TO WEAK!!! As you as you get the bolts snug stop while you're ahead ESPECIALLY THE U BOLTS. THEY WILL BREAK ON YOU

Fit my 2008 Honda Rancher 420fm just fine. I coupled it with a champion 2000lb winch. The champion provided fairlead did not fit the provided holes on the kfi winch mount. Took an hour to install the winch and the mount.

Very solid. But so exact that it was hard to install. Follow instructions exactly. DONT put the fairlead on until LAST. Or it won't go on. Also, don't tighten all the bolts down at first. Get it fitted, THEN tighten.I am (using with Superwinch Terra 35)

Decent product for price. Instructions suck. Installation videos are hard to find online

Arrived on time and was exactly as described. Worked well.
