Darice Plastic Wreath Hanger, 12-Inch, Clear

There can’t be anything more “generic” than a piece of clear. . . molded. . .plastic such as this. But it works just fine for my needs. Of course it costs pennies to make in China, but at the current price it’s not “crazy expensive” and the fact that it’s part of “Prime” and ships for free made it the perfect choice for me. The “hook” part might not work if you have a large wreath, and depending upon how it hangs. But my wreath has a loop of twine so it’s not an issue for me as the “loop of twine” simply goes over the “hook” on the hanger. If your wreath doesn’t have such a “loop of twine”, then you certainly could add one so that this hanger will work for you.

I discovered that this item can be used to hang over an inside door and holds a lightweight painting that stays in place and even stays even. On the outside of hallway doors it helps visitors identify the room. "Go to the ocean scene for the guest room," I can tell them. Another great advantage is that I can change them when I want to enjoy something else. I am going to order more for friends.

I bought this hanger to hang our Christmas wreath on our front door. We used it for about a month and a half and it worked well. It did the job. It is currently in a box being stored for next Christmas. The quality seems a little cheap (only because it is plastic), however no complaints. I knew I was ordering a plastic hanger for not much money. It was inexpensive and it held up for the holiday, which was all I needed and we will be using it again next year.

This hanger works great if you have a little bit Of a gap between the top of your door and your door. We didn’t really have that big of a gap, so it caused the top of the door to get an indent where it leads. That was no biggie for us, I just wish it was a little dinner so it wouldn’t have made a dent. The hanger is worth what you paid for and is an easy fix for hanging a wreath.

I was looking for door hangers that would not rust inside the shower, plus, didn't cost a lot. I have used these Darice Plastic Wreath Hangers to extend (lower) a shower rack that my mother could not reach while bathing because, she uses a shower chair. Now instead of having her shampoo bottles and other shower items sitting on the shower floor, she has them hanging neatly in an easy to reach area. It serves the purpose but I should have paid attention to the length. 12 inches is not very long and the weath sits higher on the door than I would like, but it works and it is as advertised (shame on me).I am keeping it. Just be aware of measurements if you are picky about placements. You may want something a little longer.

I personally like this wreath hanger. My door shuts just fine. A few reviewers on here said it snapped when they put a “lightweight”wreath on it. That depends on what you call “lightweight”. My wreath weighs a couple pounds and it is fine. It’s not as fragile as some people have written about on this site!!!! This wreath has 60 unbreakable ornaments on it from Wal-Mart for reference.

A nicely-done item, but it's a bit on the light side. This will hold items weighing a few ounces with no problems, but I can't imagine it holding anything like a bulky Christmas wreath loaded with fruit and berries and doo-dads. You'll need something a lot sturdier!But for the price? It's a great buy ... just don't distress it by asking it to hold too much for too long! ;)

Medium quality plastic- doesn’t appear super durable but also not like it will break the first use. It is shorter than a standard wreath holder so wreaths hang a bit higher. Does the job.

3 stars cause it's not that overpriced but loses a star cause its cheap and another lost star because dollarama (dollar store in canada) has door wreaths for way less and better quality.I haven't seen clear in the store but I've seen black, white and metal but its alright if you want clear. Its worth more like 2.50, not 6 dollars.
