Chroma 001438 Black Blank Metal Tag License Plate

Bought this to make a Harley plate for my semi truck. Cut my bar & shield on the cricut and now I have a great Harley plate.. Plate is solid

I bought these to use my wife's vinyl cutter (Criket?) to make a custom plate for the front of my truck since our state does not issue front plates. I couldn't find one that had what I wanted so it was easy to use make my own. They came quickly, nicely finished, worked great. I know I could've gotten some cheaper locally that were white but it was cheaper to buy this than to buy a can of spray paint and spend the time making my own.

It's very thin, it is aluminum but feels like it is plastic. Gloss black on one side, matter black on the other. Worked perfect for putting a decal using Oracle 651 vinyl on it. Mine did have a very small ding in it but it was easily covered with the vinyl so it still worked for me. My customer was very happy with the product as well.

A great blank license plate for a DIY project. It is very thin but for the most part sturdy. The license plate is very easily bent though. I feel as it should be marked down a bit in price due to how thin it is. My license plate arrived bent, although I'm sure it was due to shipping and handling. No fault to the seller. Over all a very nice product.

I placed this on my Audi license plate holder because I have a smaller than usual antique state license plate and the screws that hold the Audi plate holder to the body of the car would have shown on both sides of my plate. If I had the money, I would have this thing painted my body color and then it would look very nice. So for now it is just black, but better than seeing the screws.

This was the perfect tag for what I wanted. It seems pretty durable. It looked as if you could use either side, one being shiny and the other matte. Perfect value for the money🖤🤍

Very thin metal as others have stated. Worth it for the cheap price. But if you want something that lasts, get something else. The black coloring will easily scrape off, I'm sure a rock on the freeway would put a good dent in it. In fact, taking my plate screws on and off one time scraped the black coloring right off (see photo) . The plate also completely bent in half when I took it through its first car wash, now I know to take it off before I go through the wash.

I’ve bought this, along with other items from Amazon to make this License plate for my car. Seemed to be good quality and was easy to use to create the look I wanted. Had fun doing it this project and love the new look that it gives to my car. Good for designing your own license plate, recommend for DYI.
