The reviewers are right, this is such a cute belt. It's just enough western styling but not over the top with too much blingy stuff all over it like some belts have. I love it and am so glad I found this belt (after looking online for hours for others on the Ariat site and finding nothing I like). Can't wait to wear it to a rodeo or when riding. I figured out how to get the right size, which, yes, that is a mystery with this belt. You don't go by your actual waist measurement. What you do is you take a cloth measuring tape and you wrap that around the waist of the jeans you plan to wear the belt with. Treat the measuring tape like it's your belt. Include a little extra for however much you want the decorative end of the belt to be exposed once it's buckled. And that's your measurement. I got the 34 and I wear a size 28 or 29 jeans. The 34 worked perfectly on me. Everyone's shaped differently so I wouldn't go by what I ended up buying, but would try the measuring tape trick.

I wear a 32 waist in Ariat jeans. I bought this belt in size 34 and I have to wear it on the first whole. I would've liked to have been able to put it on the second, third, or even fourth hole. If I had gone with the 36 it would've been perfect. I recommend ordering 4 inches more than your normal waist size.

This belt is true to size and well made. I'm 5'6 and wear a size 6 jeans and weigh 126 pounds. The 32 inch belt is a good fit for me.

12 year old granddaughter into western styles and barrel racing. Size 28 fit her well with growing room. She wanted to wear with dresses as well as jeans. Well made as are most Ariat products.

Love the quality of this belt. It’s exactly as described.Please note that to get the right size you need to measure your waist. I wear size 10 jeans but got size 38 belt.Great purchase !

Originally I ordered the 28" belt.. I wear 26" jeans.. this was a bit too small...Basically when I did the belt up there wasn't enough belt left so to me it was too short... I really loved the look of the belt so I returned it.. they were excellent and quickly credited me and I reordered the 30" and actually it still could of been a bit longer... But It is a very nicely made belt... i LOVE it! I would of given it a 5 star if I could of figured out the correct sizing...I guess it depends on how much belt like you left after you buckle it up :)
