bought this clapper just as a bit of fun to use with you tube videos, its well made, looks the part and for what it is ...i can't fault it. if you do want to use it for what it is intended..it does make a good sound ....love it

Package arrived, well wrapped in good time. I purchased the clapperboard for use by our Amateur Filmmakers Club. The item is finished in a matt black that takes chalk very well and wipes off with a damp cloth after use. The writing board is made from 3mm MDF which is grooved and glued into the lower clapper arm. The clapper is made from 38mm MDF and has screen printed white bars and lettering. It has a very good clap and ticks all the boxes for us at a very low price £4.65 delivered. The arms are jointed with a thin metal plate each side with 3 strong looking rivets, one of which forms the pivot point. It is light to carry around and if your use is similar to ours it is recommended. I expect a pro studio would want something a bit more sturdy for every day use. Hope this helps you to assess what you will get if you buy this product.

The clapperboard is good material, not wobbly and definitely put together well. It is also good for chalk pens OR standard chalk: I even managed to make coloured hair chalk work - however be warned that it does not come as pictured. Instead of the top line shown in the picture, it actually has 'UNIVERSAL STUDIOS' printed, so if you had planned to write your own thing there then maybe reconsider. Having read the reviews that already mentioned this, I thought it was the best value for money, and came on time with prime delivery.I bought it for Father's day, for a dad who is very into old films so it worked a treat. Remember to buy chalk with it!Overall brilliant clapperboard, perfect for my purpose, just be aware it is not quite as pictured.

Quality was great. I bought it for a class assembly and since it didnt arrive in time ( my fault ordered it too late) i had to return it.

This product is wood and the actual clapper part is more of a soft wood I’ve noticed on mine that the clapper part is very loose as in it is off center most times but for the price I’m very please it looks very good I would recommend getting it

Was bought as a present for my younger brother who loves making his own films. He loves it!Only problem is it says universal studios on the board. This can be painted over easily if necessary, but as a party accessory it looks great

Bought this as a prop for my eleven year old daughter who loves a certain music video app.Love it, looks like the real deal- was expecting something small and flimsy but isn’t at all.Fast delivery and well worth the price
