Tierra Garden Haxnicks Easy Fleecejacke

I bought these to protect potted olive trees during a very cold spell. Whilst they did the job, they tore as I was putting them over the branches and I had to infill with bubble wrap. They‘d be fine for plants with more flexible branches - mine are very woody and sharp.

These did not come with any instructions so I have to assume that any common sense use should make them work well - however I wrapped my lovely lemon tree with it for a couple of weeks during a cold spell and it basically killed it. All of the twigs turned black and it subsequently lost all of its leaves. I don’t have high hopes I’ll be able to bring it back to life after nurturing it successfully for a number of years…

A great idea. You can cover up a plant quickly and efficiently. A fox did destroy one very quickly.

Very effective

Bought these for 4ft palm trees and are ideal. Cheap enough I don’t mind if I only get the one winter out of them. However, I reckon with care I could get a couple winters out of them.

I use this to to protect my large acer from wind when budding and it’s done the job … just need to ensure to double tie it so the wind doesn’t take it . I’ve used it over the last two years and had no problems.

Really easy to use, I put it on the manuka, and it came just in time to save it from the frosts and snow. It ties well at the bottom and has stayed on during the winds we've been getting. The items were sent well packed and nicely, so Thank You for that. Highly Recommend.
