SizzixBigz 3-D Flowers by Beth Reames, Multicolour

Please don’t buy this die if you have anything other than a sizzex big machine, I received this today hoping to use it as a normal die, cannot be used on my trusty Grand Calibur that I have been using for over 10 years, the description is deceptive, please avoid if you have a machine like mine, terrible waste of money

This is a Bigz Die and I bought it to create my own flowers; I must admit it took me a few attempts to get the technique right. The die cuts a spiral shape and you need to use a tweezers or other tool to mould the spiral around in order to create the flower shape. Its takes a bit of practice and wasn't as easy as I had hoped. I also found it worked better with heavier materials. i.e. felt. I created a beautiful flower in minutes using felt but more work was need when using paper. However, I am still very pleased with the die and as it is a Bigz die I can cut heavier materials so I look forward to experimenting with different ones.

What a gorgeous die. I have made loads of these roses now - some better than others! It takes a little practice and the Sissix paper sculpting kit is useful to have.

I needed a smaller set of roll up flowers on a bigz die to cut lots at the same time, I already have the 660834 roll up flowers but needed smaller sizes, this die only arrived a few hours ago & I’ve already cut & assembled over 30 flowers. Highly recommend this die set.

Good quality die. However no instruction supplied in pack on how to fold the diecut into the flower. Can be found on line but basic instruction should be supplied

Massive fan of these kinda dies mainly becaise I can fussy cut due to sore hands these wee flowers are great for sitting curling while watching tv and building up your stash and to be honest bunched together on a project or as trim if your using fabric looks cute n classy

Makes lovely 'flowers' from paper or thin card using a quilling pen to 'curl' the cut out shape. Easy to use in the Big Shot but the blades are a little close which makes cutting just one of the flowers a bit fiddly. However, I have had a lot of success using this die and recipients of my hand crafted cards have been amazed at the floral additions.

It's almost mandatory to use a glue gun to make these. Not brilliant as I thought it would be quick and easy. Also you need to use something to cover that gap in the middle. Hence the pearls, which I wondered why there had to be pearls in flowers!
