DickiesMen's Short Sleeve Heavyweight Crew Neck

Nice and thick material, neat looking, intense royal blue color
The material is the best weight to avoid looking see through, clingy or cheap. It's dense and soft. The waist/chest is pretty much straight rather than billowing out like other brands. The only thing I wish they'd change is not putting their logo on the outside of the shirt. It's on the pocket and if you cut the threads to remove it, you also remove part of the stitching that holds the pocket together.

My new favorite T shirt
My new favorite T shirt! Fit is a little slimmer than the similar Carhartt shirt. I've always thought that Carhartt was too big for me.

Dickie is a name to trust
Dickie has always been a great name for work clothes. These shirts did not disappoint. Durably and comfortable for work or everyday. Wash and dry nicely with minimal shrinkage. Size was true and has a longer length which is nice. These are the only works we purchase because of the quality and value.

Manufacturing inconsistency . Made in Mexico, Pakistan, Nicaragua, no longer made in the U.S.?
I purchased 18 Dickies T-Shirts on 9/19/2019 order # 9045217, some were Heavy Weight Tee's and some Pocket Tee's. I really like Dickies T-Shirts for their quality and fit ( if you purchased one size larger than you think you need and you've washed them so they'll shrink). But there's little consistency in the color or percentage of cotton in any two supposedly identical T-Shirts.issue # (1) I purchased 4 White T-Shirts. Two were size XL Pocket Tee Shirts made in Pakistan. The other two were XLT Heavy Weight Tees made in Mexico. The Pakistan shirts both have an identical slight yellow tone to the color compared to the very white ones made in Mexico.(2) one was supposed to be a Charcoal Gray XLT Heavy Weight Tee made in Mexico, it has an almost brown tint mixed with the gray.(3) A Charcoal Gray XL Pocket Tee Shirt that was made in Pakistan has the nylon Tag Attacher sewed into the seam and cannot be removed without removing the stitching from the seam. Shoddy quality control.(4) Two were Dickies Lincoln Green. One is a Heavy Weight Tee XLT made in Mexico. The other is a Heavy Weight Tee XL made in Nicaragua. The one made in Nicaragua is the color green that was advertised on-line and is the color I thought I was buying (I think it is better described as a teal green). The other is a grey green color and the color is not as advertised or what I wanted.(5) One was a Black XL T-Shirts made in Pakistan with the nylon Tag Attacher sewed into the seam and is impossible to remove(6) One was a Ash Gray Pocket Tee Shirt XL made in Pakistan with the nylon Tag Attacher sewed into the seam and was made of 99% Cotton and 1% Polyester another is a Heather Gray Heavy Weight Tee XL made in Nicaragua made of 99% cotton and 1% polyester, why the inconsistency? I'll continue to purchase Dickie T-Shirts because I believe they are still the best T-Shirts available today, but it would be nice if Dickie put some effort into guaranteeing consistency in their products and quality control. It appears that quality control disappeared when they stopped manufacturing them in America, very sad.

Great for a working man
My husband loves these shirts for working outside and on his cars. They are heavyweight and durable. He has purchased many and loves the fit.

NOT 100% cotton as the description states! 90% cotton / 10% polyester
This shirt is NOT 100% cotton as the description states! I never would have purchased this shirt if the description was accurate. The label states 90% cotton / 10% polyester, made in Nicaragua. I just want a regular old 100% cotton Tshirt that isn't paper thin. Why is that so difficult these days?! Thank you manufacturers for cutting costs and making your fabric paper thin so we have to hunt around for acceptable Tshirts.I really wasn't crazy about having a pocket on the Tshirt but many reviewers stated the shirts are thick so I gave one a try. The first thing I noticed is the shirt certainly is thicker than the cotton Tshirts I can purchase at the local stores but the fabric is stretchy due to the polyester. I'll keep this one but I won't be buying more of them. What a shame because it is nice and thick. Sad that shirts like these are marketed as "heavy duty". A few years ago it would have simply been called a Tshirt.....I haven't washed and worn the shirt yet. Maybe I'll get past the 10% polyester and order more but the single star remains until they update the description.

funny story.
old man with a beer belly T-shirt. it does not fit my build at all but good quality shirt. here's a funny story, l requested to return it and they were like whatever here's a refund just keep the shirt. l guess they didn't want to pay shipping for a shirt they would just toss anyways. so l kept it around for a while and tried to sell it at a moving out garage sale for $1, because every cent helps in a move, anyways a lady asked me if l would take 50¢ for it. it was brand new never worn still had the sticker on it and she asked me if l would take 50¢ for it. l said "no it's $5 now!" and she said "ok $1 it is then." and that was that. l mean l was going to give it away for free if nobody bought it l don't care, but the fact that she wanted to haggle $1 just really got under my skin. l mean if you can't afford a $1 shirt then you shouldn't be shopping at all lady!
