Orange PPC108 1x8" Closed Back Speaker Cabinet, Orange

Your not going to get the same sound with this speaker as you would with a 12” Celestion, but it really kicks it out. Best for a personal practice amp, but I used it to play with drums and had no problem overpowering them. Very well built.

Sounds great, use a personal monitor in small church. Use with Joyo Tweedy micro head. Great sound.

I had a 1 x 12 speaker cabinet before I bought this 1 x 8 cabinet and it sounded really dark with a heavy distortion pedal. I do not know if it was just the reduced size of speaker or its design but this speaker had a much brighter distortion sound that made the high pitched strings sound much clearer, especially when playing beyond the 15th fret.

This little cable has some bite! Amazing sound for a rediculous price.

I already had this really small single speaker cab that was made to go with the Orange Micro terror or Micro Terror Dark 20 watt tube amps. We bought this one so he could stop using mine. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 was because my older model of the same small speaker cab had two inputs vs this newer model only had a single input. The reason for the two inputs was so that you could wire in and out to another speaker making a little fullstack. This newer one only had one input so it gets 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise. Shipping was fast and came in a nice well packaged box. Also Orange included a speaker cable. Very convenient.

Love the size, and the vintage sound. Plugged in Orange micro dark into it and didn't look back. Have a hundred watt Marshall combo amp but I couldn't use it in the apartment I live in cuz it's too loud so I've been jamming on this instead.

I am running a Hotone British Invasion 5 watt head into the cab. It sounds great, has a nice classic tone and look. The front mesh is nice. Fit and finish are excellent, it's not a cheap o crap version, it is simply a small version of other orange cabs.

My band was set to play a live-streamed event in a small book store recently and I needed something quieter than a 2x12 to play through with the matching Micro Terror amp head so I bought this last week. It was the perfect volume for that event and would be great for apartment use. It’s very mid-heavy at the moment but it has a solid low end and if you run pedals & tweak the EQ it can sound great. The mids will probably soften over time.
