Rice Flake Noodles Asian Best, 8 oz. Packages (Set of 2)

My son loves Pad See Ew with beef. It's the only dish he orders when we go to our favorite Thai restaurant. I enjoy making Asian dishes at home so I'd thought I'd give it a try. Here's the problem: no supermarkets near me carry the rice flake noodles--fresh or dried--that the dish requires. The only one that does is a 45 minute drive from my home. So, when I saw these on Amazon I snagged them right away,Being rice noodles, they cook up quickly in hot, non-boiling water. The only hassle is peeling them from each other and unfolding them before stir frying in wok. But at the restaurant I've seen some torn noodles in the dish so I guess that's just the way cooking with these noodles go. I've used one bag so far. I'll be using the next bag tomorrow night when I try my hand at Pad See Ew again. Just trying to get it closer to how the chef at the Thai place makes it.

Just get these and put them in everything!

I would highly recommend these noodles for anyone looking to try their hand at making Pad Ke Mao at home. I have been spoiled by amazing Thai restaurants in previous cities that I have lived in. Now I live in a city where they have Asian fusion restaurants where they have Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and sushi all at one restaurant. Let's just say I haven't been impressed so I've been learning to make my favorites at home. These noodles are great for when I have my Pad Ke Mao cravings!

These noodles are hard to find. We love making these with our dinners to add a good textured noodle. These go well with my husband's favorite Chinese food he makes. He loves these and we have them almost weekly.

I needed wide rice noodles to make my favorite Drunken Noodles recipe, and these are perfect. Skinny noodles just aren't the same. We grow Thai basil in an aerogarden, and by the time it's ready for cutting, I can have my noodles here and recipe ready!

Very good product, but poor packaging; some noodles were broken into very tiny pieces. VERY much over-priced!!! I purchased 3 bags (same brand and size) for $5.37 (1.79/each) at a semi-local Asian market. Online is convenient if you have no local store, but you're going to pay for it.

I was looking for some wide noodles, and couldn’t find what I was looking for locally. These rice flakes are close. They were really delicious with a peanut sauce and some veggies. They cooked up quickly and the leftovers are awesome.

this puff really easy and are super crispy
