Honda Digging Tines Kit For Fg110 Tiller

I bought these digging tines for some work around my house. It was so much fun that I couldn't stop myself from using the tiller. The tines do their job, but much depends on the type of soil and how dry/moist it is. Some soil was so hard, dry, and compacted that it had to be broken up with a pick-matic before tilling.These tines will kick out small rocks up to an inch in diameter and skip over larger rocks that it finds. The tines cut through roots up to an inch in diameter but don't do too well cutting through a thick grass such as St. Augustine grass. Overall, the tines did everything that I expected them to do and I can't wait to use them on my own yard or someone else's yard. By the way, as these cutting tines are used on the Honda FG110 Cultivator/Tiller, I have to say that they are an awesome team that can't be beat for quality and ease of use in a lightweight garden power tool. Get one. It'll save you lots of manual labor. I wish I'd have gotten one 30 years ago.

I love my Honda tillers (own 3 110's and one rear-tine for our school garden) and am thankful for the great tools they are. I did not think the 110 could get any better till I got the Digging Tines. My original blades for 2 of the 3 machines now have these on them and I don't foresee putting the originals back on them for any reason. These really should be what Honda puts on these tillers from factory. These things really work up the ground and allow the tiller to actually do some decent work going forward rather than just reverse as I have found from the original factory tines. If you love you Honda FG110 already, be prepared to be amazed as with these the tiller is purely awesome!

These tines cut through my dirt quickly and easily. I love how easy they churns though the grass patches and digs down where I need it. Like another reviewer said, these should be included with the tiller instead of the blades they do include. I would give 5 stars, but for the price.

Be warned, removing original blades is not easy without destroying them. Removal of mine required making a puller, a torch and for two of them grinding away metal! I suggest making sure you can remove old blades before spending$

Although the tines are more expensive than I wanted to pay I think they are worth it. The tines are actually paired back to back so you end up with 8 digging tines in the kit along with the spacers and new lock pins. The tines dig rather than bounce your tiller all over trying to get down. Then you can use your tiller tines if the soil is not as fine as you would like.These digging tines make the jobs a lot faster and easier because of the way they get into the soil rather than bouncing across the top. Our soil is not like clay where I live so I don't know how they would work for that.I am glad I got these digging tines before it wore out my tiller tines and bounced my tiller out of commission.

I’m so disappointed. I finally got my tiller serviced and was ready to get to work on my first job. 😳🥺😠

Quality item.

I wore out a set of regular tines working hard, rocky soil that had not been planted for a long time. The digger tines sliced and broke up the soil with ease. They worked so well I don't think I will go over the soil again with the other tines.
