Pimpernel 2010648038 Placemats, One Size, Multicolor

I really like the Pimpernel placemats. They look great on the table. They act as a protector of my diningtable from heat or scratches. They are easy to wipe clean. I make sure they are clean and dry before Istack them for storage. I will use these holiday placemats for years and years.

I use these large placemats on furniture in place of coasters, as we always seem to have more than one beverage at a time on our end tables and coffee table. The design is elegant and the quality is high. My smaller "cards" (a.k.a., cork placemats) from Pimpernel have lasted for more than 20 years with the occasional staining issue. I expect these to last a long time.

There isn't anything I dislike about these placemats. They are attractive, go with a variety of tablecloths and protect my old, wooden table. Large enough for plates, utensils and beverages. I purchased eight more to match my original four, which I have had for several years, and use at least six weeks of the year. They are holding up very well.

These were a Christmas present for my daughter who loves this pattern. She uses them all through the holiday season. They are beautiful, colorful, very Christmas-y, sturdy and clean up easily - important since she is the mother of 2 teenagers, works full time and is taking classes. A good choice for a busy household!

These are great. They look so nice, the design is beautiful and festive. Any spills easily wipe up. The cork back protects you table tops.

I just love these! Generously sized, weighty, beautiful color and design. Really enjoyed using these over the holidays and will continue to use them throughout the winter (that's the good thing about anything with a holly design). Now if I can just talk myself into getting the matching dishes....

Purchased these and the coasters. They made a lovely holiday table setting. I also used the placemats as table protectors from hot dishes and they worked well.

They were a gift for my mom fornuse during winter months. She loved them. The pure white of the background made them bright and clean. The border shows when a plate is placed on the mat. Highly recommend.

I had been looking at these for over a year before I finally decided to buy them (I bought eight).I love Pimpernel placemats and these are my favorite ones I own. I wish I could use them all year round but since I can't, I'll be bringing them out November 1st and using them until the end of January.

Love these, wanted an extra set.

The Pimpernell Place Mats arrived yesterday and were in excellent condition, these are a birthday present for my Mom and I wanted something special for her. These were a good choice because they have a corked underside and are great for hot casserols on or really warm plates and excellent for a buffet.Anne

I bought 2 sets of 4. I had these placemats many years ago from wedding gifts and they were extremely durable. Not so any longer. Within 1 week the edges showed staining from wiping them with a damp cloth. I was extremely careful with them, yet all of the placemats now have staining along all the edges. It looks like water stains or oil stains. It does not go away once the placemats dry. I paid almost $100 and within 2 months I consider them unusable. Unfortunately I missed the return deadline. Do not buy these unless you won't actually be using them except for show and removing them from the table before you eat. So disapointed.
