Honesty in Advertising
Sadly, I never got to use the ZipSpin. The Heartland ad stated the item was not "intended" to copy "Hollywood" material. Page One of the owner's manual stated it would not copy Copy Protected Material. Now we go back to the old argument of making a copy for self-use. This was my case, an extra "throw-away" copy, not multiple copies for sale to friends and family. My ZipSpin is on its way to the ReturnCenter the same day I received it. Shame on Heartland for not making this more clear. Good luck to those who can make use of it.

very short life copies
I purchased subject copier and found it very easy to use and produced a good copy, however I found out in a short period of time, the copy does not last but a few plays before it freezes and skips on any player I put it on ! Not worth the money I invested !It was a very big disapointment!

Zip Spin DVD Duplicator
I was about to buy this apparently economical DVD duplicator when I read one of your customer's reviews "that it cannot copy Hollywood material, not even for self use". Its always the phobia Hollywood and others have about "piracy". Well first of all, a professional "pirate" will never order a two DVD/CD duplicator from any catalog store. Usually he has money to start his illegite business and he will buy a professional multi-duplicator(s) and start copying movies galore, to have his people sell them on the streets, subways, burger joints, etc. at unbeatable prices. He even has other equipment to duplicate DVD covers,in full color, etc. Wake up "Zip-Spin" distributors and manufacturers, your tiny two drawer copier would make no one rich, even if he'd take 20 years to make 100 copies of any Hollywood film you'd care to name and if this tiny equipment lasts that long, it looks like it wouldn't. Folks who would buy this apparently economical two tray equipment would make copies only for personal use and perhaps make one copy for a relative or friend, for free, that's it. So now who loses? The vendors, who have to absorb the many returns of those disenchanted folks who didn't take the time to read the fine print and erroneously purchased your duplicator. Get back to reality and above all the 21st Century, "pirates" are far more resourceful, smarter and more elusive than you think.
