Over-priced considering there are no shades and the mounting screws are too short. In order to get the screws to start, you have to get it perfectly lined up then push up hard on the fan. There’s plenty of room in the fan housing for slightly longer screws which would have made this a 10 minute job instead of a 30 minute job. The mounting screws did at least include locking snap washers so the screws stayed in place while trying to mount the light (wish these same type of snap washers were included with the Hunter Sea Wind fan blades!).The box includes (3) LED bulbs although the description says fluorescent. We were going to buy our own LED bulbs so that was a nice surprise.For the price, shades should be included.I was going to rate this 4 stars because it looks nice and works well. When I realized these same comments have been stated since 2019 and things haven’t changed, I decided 3 stars was a generous rating.

This came with horrible light bulbs, no shades and the instructions to install were incorrect. Thankfully, I had an electrician who was able to figure it out, but sure seems like a high price for what you get. In the end, it looks nice but I would shop other brands that maybe give you an all inclusive set up for a simalar price. At the end of the day, who needs to go shopping for the "right" shades to prevent you from being blinded by the hideous glare of the bulbs they provide?

I'm installing these today and everything is going fine, except there are no shades in the box. The instructions say to install the shades, and the Amazon Page does not say, "things normally bought together...."You have to buy shades for these. MISLEADING!

The two supplied 6-32 mounting screws could have been 1/8" longer and life would have been easier, but you can get them to start with a bit of effort once the wiring is tucked up inside.Getting the B075Q5WVW9 Licperron Lamp Guards installed was a bit of a trick, which involved breaking the spot-welded clamps off the guards with a needle nose and using longer 8-32 screws to hold the guards in place.Having said all that, the pricing on this is absurd. No way this should cost more than $25.

Picked up two fans from Home Depot. Call Hunter and they told me they would not fit. The light kit color matches. The only thing I needed to do was purchase two #6-32 X 1"inch screws. (Lowes) The screws supplied were a little short. Looks Great!

Put this on a original hunter fan 23855. Read the reviews stating that it might be tricky and not intended for this model. My husband made a couple of modifications and it worked out great. I should note that my husband has experience with electrical work.I don't know the specifics of what he did but I believe he used longer screws.This light kit works perfectly and it is what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Thank you Amazon!

No globes included and screws too short. Had to get longer screws to make kit attach to fan. Never heard of a light kit with no globes. Light bulbs sent were not appropriate for outdoor use. Keep the light bulbs and send the shades/globes.

It did not have any globes. I have never heard of such!!
