La Riche Directions Hair Dye - Pastel Pink

I use this to cover the white-ish hair that has sporadically appeared all over my head. It is a lovely pink....with slight strawberry undertones. Don't mix this with too much conditioner as the color is already light. Sticks to bleached parts better than just plain old white hair. White and grey don't work for me so I generally put it on my long hair at the front and roots every week and every other week I will do my whole head. I usually buy 3-4 at a time. Lasts about 3 months. Wear gloves. Seriously. You will get a light pink glow to your hair. It is not 'in your face.' Lovely.

I used the pastel pink color and followed the instructions exactly, even left it in twice as long as recommended and absolutely no color showed up. Is there a trick I'm missing here? I have naturally blonde hair that I just recently lightened to very light blonde so it should have turned at least a tiny bit pink. I washed it beforehand and didn't use conditioner because I've read that can make dye less likely to sink into hair. I towel-dried my hair as instructed and applied almost the entire jar. My hair was completely saturated with the stuff. I let it sit for 30 minutes and rinsed it out, not using shampoo again or anything and there was zero change in my hair color. My hair is definitely lighter than the dye and I have highlights that are almost white and it didn't even show up on those.I was a bit curious while i was applying it because i got some on my skin and it washed out without staining at all. It also left no residue on my towel I use for hair dye. Other semi-permanent dyes like Manic Panic will stain skin pretty quickly and will show up easily on lighter fabrics. I had to double-check to make sure I hadn't accidentally purchased hair gel or something made to add to the actual hair dye, but nope it was the actual dye. It just didn't seem to have a lot of pigment in it, like it was mostly gelatinous filler. Maybe other colors work better from what I read in the reviews but this pastel pink is a dud. I've added a photo of my hair after attempting to dye it.

Its a rlly pretty color, & although the container itself is pretty small (one use for me & I was doing tips) I was sad to see that after I had waited 2 hours, & the color looked AMAZING... until I washed my hair. I watched horrified as my fab pink hair color washed ALL the way out ;-; I had mixed it with conditioner & did a section that was JUST the product to see how intense I could get it. I have light hair. I'm talkin platinum/almost white. So this was a huge disappointment. The water I used was not hot/or cold & I had washed gently & everything. Maybe its my hair or maybe having to wait 3 1/2 weeks for it, is what caused it to not work. But I wouldn't count this product out, as I am unsure what went wrong. The color is BEAUTIFUL & I really wished it would have worked. I wish I could fall in love with it ON my hair, not just in the pictures. This is diffidently meant for LIGHT hair, I cant see it sticking to dark, & currently.. no hair color at all.

So I used this in conjunction with the Wella Color Charm T18 White Lady toner. That toner did a fairly good job of turning my blonds white, and so I was fairly hopeful this would stay. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.Let me first start off by mentioning that the conditioning treatment is actually rather effective. I did this on dry hair, (versus freshly shampooed hair, as per the suggestions) and left it on for 15 minutes longer than recommended. When I went to shower out the dye, my hair felt soft and new... but was barely tinted. The pieces that had changed color were indeed a pastel pink, but the rest had virtually no effect. What's worse, it only really lasted for about a day and a half, and then faded back to my normal blond.Overall, if you're going to try pastel, I would either say make sure your hair is blond to the extreme, or try diluting a strong pink instead (as per the recommendation of my hair stylist friend). If I had potentially showered first as suggested it might have made a difference, but I highly doubt that it would have really affected the outcome.

My daughter really wanted her hair to be light pink. After a pulled all the color out of her hair I put this in as directed. It did turn a light pink and stayed in about three weeks with shampoos every other day with a shampoo that was not clarifying. She was happy with the results. No damage to the hair and very reasonable price.

I was looking to add a pink tint to my hair so I bought this. I have had my hair bleached recently so I thought this would pick up the color well. I have used other dyes with good results. When I received it, I noticed that the dye was really light. I decided to try it to see if it would work. You can barely tell that I did anything to my hair. I haven't washed my hair since using this so I'm not sure if it will stay.

Ich bin ein absoluter Selfmade-Friseur und liebe Directions, weil sie nicht schädlich für die Haare sind, in vielen Farbnuancen aufarten und semipermanent auf den Haare bleiben. Allerdings ist diese Farbnuance sozusagen das Gegenteil von der Garbe Turquoise: Man sieht irgendwie fast gar nichts. Für Pastelpink braucht man vermutlich weißblondes Haar, also eine Aufhellung auf Stufe 10 oder höher. Der leichte Rosaschimmer ist schon zu erkennen (ich habe Haare der Blondierstufe 8-9), aber so unauffällig, dass man sich fragt, ob es ein Unfall war oder gewollt.Ich empfehle also für diejenigen, die gerne Rosa werden wollen, folgendes:1. Holt euch Directions Flamingopink oder Carnationpink, mischt zwei Teelöffel in eine ganze Flasche Spülung (wichtig: KEINE Colorspülung!) und lasst die Mischung im Haar eine Stunde einwirken.2. Wenn euch das Ergebnis nicht gut genug ist, dann mischt ihr das nächste Mal einen Löffel mehr hinein. Wer ein kühleres Rosa will sollte hier noch einen Löffel Lilac reinmischen, also mit einem Löffel Pink zusammen in die Spülung und sich dann langsam, je nach Intensität, in der Menge hocharbeitenMan kann ganz easy mit den Directions ein Pastelpink zaubern, dass wirklich so aussieht, wie man es sich wünscht. Dafür braucht man allerdings Farbkenntnisse, ein wenig Mut und so hell blondiertes Haar, wie möglich. Es sollte jedem klar sein, dass man einen Pastelton nur auf sehr hellem Haar tönen kann. Andernfalls bekommt man höchstens einen leichten Rotstich ins Haar.Pastelpink von Directions ist eine schöne Idee, die Umsetzung aber leider nicht überzeugend. Also: Mutig zu anderen Farbnuancen der Marke greifen und einfach mal mischen und ausprobieren oder gleich auf Instagram stöbern, wie die anderen ihre Farbtöne kreiert haben. Dann klappt es auch mit dem Pastelhaar :)

Sehr schöne Farbe! Super einfach aufzutragen.Aber es ist ein Pastell Ton, daher müssen die Haare vorher echt weiß sein damit die Farbe gut wird! Ich hab mal ein "vorher" Bild mit hochgeladen, damit man sehen kann wie hell sie für das Ergebnis sein müssen.Ich habe die Farbe im Verhältnis 3:2 (Farbe:Spülung) gemischt weil ich Angst hatte dass es mir sonst zu dunkel wird, nächstes Mal werde ich aber direkt die Farbe benutzen.

Ich liebe die Directions-Farben für ihre einfache Anwendung, ihre tolle Farbwiedergabe (was man auf den Bildern sieht, ist das, was auf den Haaren zu sehen sein wird) und ihre lange Haltbarkeit im Vergleich zu anderen, ähnlichen Farben (zum Beispiel aus der Drogerie). Obwohl meine Haare nicht komplett weißblond vor dem Färben waren, sondern einen leichten Gelbstich hatten, war das Ergebnis ein tolles Zuckerwatte-Rosa. Ich habe mit keiner anderen Pastell-Farbe so ein schönes, gleichmäßiges Ergebnis erzielt wie mit dieser Directions-Farbe. Wenn ihr auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Bonbon-Zuckerwatte-Pastell-Rosa seid: das hier ist die richtige Wahl!

Viele scheinen hier von diesem Produkt wahre Wunder zu erwarten! ABER liebe Käufer: Es ist euch vielleicht nicht ganz klar, dass Pastellfarben auch nur ganz hell, leicht schimmernd aussehen sollen! Auf weiß blondierten Haaren hat man den "farbintensivsten" Effekt. Alles was dunkler ist, wird auch nur minimal zu sehen sein!!! Und bitte hört endlich mal auf euren Friseur, wenn er euch ans Herz legt, eine gescheite Kur zu verwenden! Die Haltbarkeit der Farbe hängt sehr, sehr oft auch an euch ganz allein ab.Dieses Produkt verspricht genau das, was es liefert. Es handelt sich hier um keinen chemischen Vorgang, ist also auch nur oberflächlich an der Haarstruktur haltbar.Allein schon das Haare kämmen ist ein mechanischer Reitz, der die Struktur beansprucht. Was glaubt ihr eigentlich, was die Sonne, Haare waschen, föhnen, glätten, stylen und etc. ausmachen?BITTE informiert euch richtig, bevor ihr urteilt!Und achtet auf die Angaben des Herstellers!
