The Classic Guitar Collection - Volume 3

I had access to an earlier edition of this collection, long before it was part of this set, so I was glad to be able acquire a copy for myself after so many years. There are some collections of Carcassi and Giuliani studies you don't see very often, ad well as some longer Carulli works that are fun to read through. I knocked off a star for the lack of catalog (i.e. Opus) numbers that are often lacking in budget anthologies, but for being a budget collection there's no lack of good sight reading material here.

Hard to find & highly recommended ! I am an absolute beginner and won't get to this level for a while but these are highly recommended dead by teachers of classical guitar and hard to find. Grab all three volumes whenever you see them!

I love the selections in this volume and play through all of them at least once a week. My technique, although not great, has definitely improved since purchasing this volume. I highly recommend it if you're interested in playing some rather beautiful classics.

The three volumes in this collection are my favorite group of guitar sheet music. I am a little lazy and after not playing for a little while, I like to start out with nice sounding but also easy to read music and there is a lot here while there is also a lot of more complicated music as well. I recommend these three books.

I bought all three of these books. To be frank, I would not bother with book 2. Book three has a very good selection of enjoyable tunes and playing.Not for the absolute beginner but for everyone else, a good buy.

Had volume 1 of this when I was learning guitar as a child (some 40 years ago). Delighted to find the series is still available!

Best in the series I think. Really charming simple pieces to practice on and some more challenging to get your teeth into. Well recommended.
