Eddie Griffin: You Can Tell 'Em I Said It

I forgot how hilarious this man is! If you're sensitive, you'll miss the message(s). His timing, wisdom, and how he crafts his material is simply genius! Amazon Prime suggested this for me, btw. Great choice team! LOL. There were a few teachable moments he smoothly infused into his act which felt like he was simply just talking to us, the audience...and then Eddie surprises with something you don't anticipate & you realize - you're watching a show! Good mature content. Funny observation of current events. He reminds us of a trustworthy confidant who is a straight shooter - no holds barred which pulls you into his view of the world. His physical portrayal of the characters he introduced was so accurate. I've watched it twice! NOW THIS is comedy!! Great job Mr. Griffin!

Very funny

This was a good stand-up show. What set it off was the visuals that accompanied the jokes the first half of his set. Eddie does not hold back and is sure to keep his comedy controversial and jaw-dropping. You'll be glad you watched--you will laugh.

I was at this show!And it was such a JOY asking Eddie to tell my mom HAPPY BIRTHDAY!Get the DVD and you can hear me asking him, and he was sooo quick witted to do a SAMMY DAVIS act while singing Happy Birthday to my mom! Thank You Eddie Griffin and Comedy Central for making this show a DVD! I now have a memory of my mother for ever!

Pretty good show, I'm a fan so I really enjoyed it.
