Hockey FaceOff DecoSet Cake Decoration

Great for top of cake and to play with afterward.Sturdy, sat perfectly on cake. My only suggestion would be to make in different colours so it would look like two separate teams and have the goalie in the same colour as the players. I painted two of the yellow players blue to represent our team!

These are so cute!! My son is excited to put them on his shelf after we use them for his cake! The quality is a lot better than I expected!

For those wondering based on the pictures, the bases of these pieces are white, not blue or marbled blue.These look great and are heavier/sturdier than I thought they would be. Like another reviewer, however, I really wish there were more color options available (my daughter's team is green, white, and black, and I couldn't find anything that would fit).

Good quality! Served my purpose perfectly. I made a large sheet cake and iced it like a hockey rink. I ordered 2 sets so I could have a team and two nets. The kids were excited to have them as toys afterwards. Their only complaint was that there should have been a better puck. :)

The figures are very stable on the cake, and they make the cake easy to decorate with just some color-gel tubes. They are easily washed more than once without any damage to their paint, as we had to hold 2 separate parties. You could use this for Pittsburgh Penguins, the Bruins, or similar-color team from any league. I used mini-peppermint patties (dark chocolate) for 1 hockey puck on top, and then pushed a line of them into the icing at the base of the cake, all around the cake. I made a 9"x13" cake. What's funny is that the goalie from the "other team" has the number "0" on his back.

These figures were perfect for our son's hockey themed cake! They seemed a little expensive but are thick/sturdy. I placed them on top of a premade cake from a well known big box warehouse store that had a nice open design. I had planned to put them on a white cake and make the face off circles with frosting but such is life. We got a cake last minute and took whatever we could get. Even when I pushed the lid of the cake down on the figures before serving they stood up to that.These were about the same price as rhe hockey candles but those have no purpose once melted. These could still be played with (and likely will). I'd buy these again.

The Hockey Cake Stopper brought huge surprise and delight to all.......Especially the Birthday Boy whose love for hockey surpasses all else!!!!!!!

Absolutely recommend this set which was the perfect choice for a hockey themed party. Took them to Safeway and our local baker was able to duplicate the cake shown above. Definitely buy these, you won’t be sorry!
